My eBay/China Olaf just arrived and is perfect. The seller is lesta221 and claims a delivery of 5-10 working days.

I thought there'd be no way it'd arrive so quickly from China but it did take 10 days!

I was worried it would be pretty small but he's lovely and big. I ordered the 12" one.

Just mentioned it as it's a bit hit and miss with what people are getting and I can definitely recommend that seller. She/he has loads of other frozen stuff too.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 14/11/2014 12:11

Oo- yeah mine was a different seller and has an "away out of office" message auto generated by eBay so may have to put in a not as described claim I had just contacted seller to sort it.

Waitingonasunnyday · 14/11/2014 12:17

Rakuten offer only works if you are logged in as a member I think, so you have to set up new account each time you want to use the code. (Luckily for me DC each have email addresses they never check Wink)

Once you are logged in the box appears to enter the code.

Whattheduck · 14/11/2014 12:19

You have to register first with Rakuten before you order, then there is a code box on the payment page.

MissRainbowBrite · 14/11/2014 12:31

Aaah, that's where I went wrong, I checked out as a guest. When my order cancellation comes through I'll try again - thank you Smile

Iggi999 · 14/11/2014 12:53

o0 I've bought minecraft plush toys from the same seller, good stuff and came quickly, ds loves them. Might get a few more as presents for his friends/parties.

ihatethecold · 14/11/2014 12:54

Just been to argos, they have half price Tassimo and Dolce Gusto coffee machines on offer.

lews · 14/11/2014 12:55

Found some great bargains from the thread thank you! Hoping someone will be able to help - my 4 year old is asking for a 'monster hat that you can customise'. I vaguely remember seeing an advert on one of the Kids TV channels but didn't register it. Anyone know what he is talking about?! It is all he is asking for!!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/11/2014 13:06

Sounds like the Merry Hill story is a myth in the making. Hoaxslayer and Snopes aren't carrying it yet, but give it time.

My pathetically sporadic contributions:

Isme £30 off a £60 spend 4KN3K. It applies to your credit account rather than your bill but it works. Just remember to pay off the account!

And the Book People flash sale ends tonight. Some amazing bargains. I have got 36 books for £25 to use instead of party bags the other parents are going to hate me for being poncetastic aren't they.

mumtoone1 · 14/11/2014 13:38

Hi All,

Looking for superduper wow factor toys for around 5-8 quid each as i'll be buying quite a few. preferrably something that is reduced signifcantly. Boys and girls any age.

I'll just go on amazon and argos now to have a hunt.

IAlreadyToldYou · 14/11/2014 13:41

I've got a couple of questions if anyone would be kind enough to make suggestions.

  1. Thank you daddykyller for the rakuten/lego movie info, just ordered. Dd loves the uni kitty from the movie and asked for a uni kitty light key ring for xmas and I'd like to get it for to go with the dvd. I saw it on amazon for £6 last week and when I've looked again today they're nearly £10! Just wondering if anyone's seen one for a good price anywhere? Actually, it doesn't have to be the light up key ring, a uni kitty regular key ring would be great, or any uni kitty merchandise. Thanks in advance Thanks
Questionsquestionsquestions · 14/11/2014 13:46

IAlready John Lewis have them for £6.40 at the minute as they're price matching someone - the light up one.

IAmAPaleontologist · 14/11/2014 13:48

Mumto try looking on Isme and use the code I just posted. I just used it to refill my present drawer. Lots of stuff on 3 for 2 so save money that way and then once you have a million presents in your shopping cart totaling £60 you can get them all for £30 instead! I have 9 presents in my drawer from my shop including my little pony toys, lego sets, schleich dinosaurs, transformers, a womery....loads.

marne2 · 14/11/2014 13:49

Mumtoo, these are a good price, my dd has this set and it has been played with a lot.

IAlreadyToldYou · 14/11/2014 13:49

Oops forgot to post my second question Blush.

  1. Thank you glen for the Cayla doll info. After much research we've decided against it.Seems a bit complicated and I have android devices. So, we're after some kind of interactive doll for dd age 4. My niece had a great one, bit she is 15 so this was a few years back. She was similar looking to Cayla and said simple phrases to which the child had to respond with an action. So for example, the doll would say "I'm unwell" so you'd take her temp with the thermometer she came with and then gave her the medicine she came with and the doll would recognise what you were giving her. She also would recognise what clothes you put on her and she had a built in clock so knew when it was bedtime etc. I would love something similar for my dd. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be so, so grateful.
FishCalledWonder · 14/11/2014 14:00

Tempted by the cheap furby..... They're so ugly though and DD is only 3.......

sweetkitty · 14/11/2014 14:15

BHS have 20% off all nightwear.

Got my Minion today £10 with my vouchers. Went into B&M looking for a Zebra night light pillow thing they had a ladybird and something else for £4.99 but no zebras.

Ended up in Aldi for fruit and bought 2 power tool kits for DS who is tool mad, got him a jigsaw and drill set for £7.99 each, they had chainsaws too, same as the ones he lives in Smyths for £10.

Waitingonasunnyday · 14/11/2014 14:18

I already told you, DD has a cicciobella doll that needs feeding, comforting and medicine. It has different cries for different needs Hmm and if it is ill and the medicine doesn't work you inject it in the bum. The batteries are removable Wink

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/11/2014 14:21

Everybody needs a Furby Fish......Grin I am tempted to get another...Blush

iloveholidays · 14/11/2014 14:21

Has anyone seen any Orchard toy games or puzzles on offer anywhere please?

I pulled all the presents out last night and poor DD3s looks quite pathetic Sad She's really into puzzles at the moment so thought I'd get a couple.

Think I'm there on DD1 and 2 though Smile Just need to do a trip to poundland to get a few stocking fillers.

Then DP, parents, grandparents and the school/preschool/childminder ones to go Grin My aim was the end of November so hoping I'll make it!!!!
