Thanks riskit ''twas me that asked. Ive bought the toot toot train station and it arrived today and looks fab. Saving it for Dd's birthday in March so might ask grandparents to get one of the safari sets as well so she can have a couple of different ones.

poppetina · 07/11/2014 19:08

Thanks Reastie Smile

PickleMobile · 07/11/2014 19:09

Oops, different ones to play with. At least I know they won't work together.

HuevosRancheros · 07/11/2014 19:09

If anyone is wanting to buy a Vtech Kidizoom camera, they are currently £26 on amazon - both blue and pink.

Sure they were about £35 the other day - glad I waited! Grin

EustaciaVye · 07/11/2014 19:11

ordered some nice party dresses for DDs from BHS the other day. half price so worth a look.

Also check M &S for free international delivery if you spend over £30.00.

ipswichwitch · 07/11/2014 19:13

In M&S today the Christmas house biscuit tin was half price at £5. It's the one with the lights on the roof. The rotating tree and bauble tins were £10 each but in 3 for 2.

missmakesstuff · 07/11/2014 19:17

Sorry it's not Christmassy but does anyone know if jojo giveaway discounts online if you register? I've tried to find a maternity fleece coat they have for 50 quid any cheaper, I havens perfectly gfood warm parka but its straining at the zip (only 21 weeks!!) and this one has a great removable section, could wear it under my parka and just not do it up...saw one on eBay but missed out..getting chilly soon juedging by the size of me already!

Waitingonasunnyday · 07/11/2014 19:20

Ana begins... I'd get him touch screen gloves. Then he can combine gadgets with hill walking/football.

Mummyboo30 · 07/11/2014 19:24

JessesGirl · 07/11/2014 19:38

There are some wooden balance bikes and Disney princess things I. The Amazon Lightning deals right now.
Could somebody please link me to the instructions for the cardboard goggles? I've tried looking but can only find Chinese ones with no images ConfusedConfused

Olivo · 07/11/2014 19:50

Sorry, haven't read middle of thread but YES to the person asking about the playmobil nativity. My two still love playing with it.

The playmobil fairy/ unicorn advent calendar is down to £13.20 on Amazon, so pleased I didn't give in. A few weeks ago!

PandasRock · 07/11/2014 19:52

Does anyone know of/have experience of Lucy the Dog?

Dd2 might like her, but only if it actually works as promised!

OctopusArmEnvy · 07/11/2014 19:56

Code DINGDONG for 20% off at gltc. Minimum spend is £55 and full price items only but still could be worth doing :-)

Tykeisagirl · 07/11/2014 19:57

Not quite a bargin but saw a good stocking filler in BHS earlier, children's toothbrushes with names on them for £2.99 each.

FernArable · 07/11/2014 19:57

Toys R Us had huge rolls of extra wide wrapping paper for £2.96 and Minions Operation for £14.99, cheapest I've seen it.

Neeko · 07/11/2014 20:02

Bizarre request but has anyone seen a Christmassy toothbrush for children? I'd like our elf to bring some.

Rugbylovingmum · 07/11/2014 20:03

PandasRock - my DN (6) and DD1 (5) both have a lucy dog and they love them. You do have to speak quite clearly - even then it doesn't always do the right thing but it doesn't bother them. They just laugh that she gets mixed up sometimes. DD2 is 2.5 and can't get to to work but my other niece (3.5) can just about manage. I got it for £23 in either home bargains or B&M (can't remember which) and I'm happy with it for that price. HTH

ipswichwitch · 07/11/2014 20:04

Sainsburys had wooden balance bikes for £12. There were a few other massively reduced bits - must be the last of the toy sale stuff.

wigglesrock · 07/11/2014 20:05

PandasRock - one of my dds got Lucy as a birthday present last year (she was 6)- she loves it, it's very cute. It had issues with our accent, but every voice response toy I've bought has been the same Smile. It's lasted well over a year now and has stood the test of time and the affections of my 3 year old!

Olivo · 07/11/2014 20:06

Can anyone suggest what I might buy for 8 and 6 year old boys please? It'd have to be a online thing. Can't be Lego.

PandasRock · 07/11/2014 20:07

Thanks, Ruby. It's on amazon for £21 atm, and I am dithering. Seems a good price. Hmm. Will ask dh what he thinks when he's finished putting the dds to bed.

PandasRock · 07/11/2014 20:09

Thanks, wiggles. I might go for it. I should wait until next week, but the price will have increased by then, no doubt.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 07/11/2014 20:15

I thought cars & animal toot toot were compatible. I know DS plays with them all together so the tracks certainly fit together but not sure if they set off the interaction points on the opposite set. I'm tempted to get it out to check but the animal set is in DS's room and it's that noisy I'd probably wake him getting it out.
