Oh and very randomly I'm looking for bright (as bright as possible!) boys trainers, size 1 for my nephew.
Lime green, orange, anything like that if anyone spots some on their travels please let me know where, I'm drawing a blank Thanks

OohOod · 07/11/2014 14:44

Ooh fx on the Italian goodies again!

yaffle · 07/11/2014 14:46

Not sure if it's nationwide but my local Tesco Homeplus had the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who sonic screwdrivers (1st Doctor through to 11th Doctor ) reduced to £2.50, Angrybirds Starwars Telepods ,whatever the hell they are , but it's the kind of tat (I mean lovingly thought out present ) my 6 year old loves , ideal for stocking fillers .

ToysRus have some quite good offers on at the moment , buy one get one half price on Star Wars toys (although doesn't apply to Lego sets), a lot of the classic figures are reduced to £3.49, Battlepods (at l think that's what they're called) sets reduced to £7.49 and still included in the bogohp offer . If you spend £50 on Thomas The Tank Engine you get a tent for free and a free Treehouse set if you spend £50 on Peppa sodding Pig.

No prizes for guessing my 3 youngest dc's obsessions.

Does anyone have any suggestions for stocking fillers for older boys (12 and 14 ) I'm really struggling to think of anything other than Lynx, Xbox live voucher, sweets and earphones .

Waitingonasunday Do you mean these candles by Nougat? They are out of stock atm, might b worth calling to find out when they are expected to become available.

RosieBdy · 07/11/2014 14:56

all that glistens (think I got that right!) I was at home bargains this morning and not a Ninjago book/ set/ thing to be seen at my local one...
There were loads of the crazy bones things that someone was asking about a few threads ago... Did you manage to get your hands on some? Sorry, can't remember who it was now! Xmas Smile

Chocolateteabag · 07/11/2014 14:59

Not really very Christmassy but I've been sent a £20 off a heated clothes airer from Lakeland (£89 normally) - valid to 15 Nov.
Not likely to use it so PM me if you'd like it

Also £10 off a £20 spend at Celtic Sheepskin valid til end of today - PW1410

WildFlowersAttractBees · 07/11/2014 15:11

Nougat is genuine posh (well, as posh as I go!). I treasure my clothes from there in the same way I treasure my Jo Malone candles and Chanel perfume.

ChubbyKitty · 07/11/2014 15:16

Yaffle what's a tesco homeplus??? Sort of feel like I neeeeed to get all the sonic screwdrivers for my dad!

Although I might have bought him a lot already, but he has a birthday in December too so I could split the screwdrivers between the two.

Is there a website for it?

ChubbyKitty · 07/11/2014 15:19

Ooh one in Nottingham closest to me.

I shall see if I can arrange a mission.

nodramamama · 07/11/2014 15:31

Yaffle how about credit card multi tools or Google 3d glasses? Also duct tape wallets:

Wow, another thread already! Finding it really hard to keep up!

Can I ask you expert bargain hunters a question about the next voucher for £10 off a £15 spend please? I'd read the posts from those of you on here who'd grabbed them and was under the impression you just used the code from the voucher at the checkout. But the cashier in next said that I needed to fill one in there and then and that she'd process my card and that I'd have an email with a link I'd need to follow in order to make my purchases... I haven't received said email Confused Also, was hoping to get a card for my dh as 2 per household but the cashier said he needed to be there to sign the card. Has anyone else had this or have you just grabbed the cards and entered the code at the checkout like I thought (I may have misunderstood and others have had to do this too).

yaffle · 07/11/2014 16:01

Chubby Kitty , they're just the non -food Tesco stores , the bricks and mortar equivalent of the Tesco Direct website , although the prices always seem to be totally different (I've questioned this before, yep I'm one of those people , and was told they're different businesses even though they all come under the Tesco umbrella .

yaffle · 07/11/2014 16:03

Oh and forgot to say they're just toy replica sonic screwdrivers not actual screwdrivers , if you were getting them for your dad, they just light up, beep and probably something else to irritate me .

marne2 · 07/11/2014 16:05

Dh has banned me from the bargain threads and hotdeals today ( so I'm not really here) did check my emails and had body shop codes for buy 2 get 2 free, I'm trying hard not to look Grin.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 07/11/2014 16:08

IAlreadyToldYou, it was me who nabbed all the next vouchers. There was a huge pile of them sat on the desk (in front of me not the checkout assistant) so I took a pile! We all just put in the code and threw away the voucher afterwards. DH and I used one each too.

Waitingonasunnyday · 07/11/2014 16:14

Thanks for the Nougat info.

£7 per candle is good then.

I abandoned Achica in a huff, I will have to slope back on and order them then!!

SweetPeaPods · 07/11/2014 16:17

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but sainsburys have 25% if you buy 6 bottles of wine so might be worth stocking up for Xmas/new year.

RoaringForties · 07/11/2014 16:24

De lurking and throwing Thanks to everyone for all the bargains, it's my yearly festive addiction. Moltenpink my surfdome socks turned up today, they are a fantastic bargain, thank you heaps.

This was in my inbox, p&p is £1.95 though scarves might be a useful pressie for someone.

IHeartKingThistle · 07/11/2014 16:25

this is a fab price for 10,000 Hama beads.

I have already bought a tub of 3,000 for DD - am sitting on my hands to avoid twitching and ordering the big bucket. I could give the little bucket to someone else, no?

Tell me 3,000 is plenty!

momwhereismy · 07/11/2014 16:33

Has anyone any discounts on toysrus toys? I need something for DS from there and it's the only place that sells it. I can't bring myself to pay full price Confused

IHeartKingThistle · 07/11/2014 16:42

They have pretty good cashback don't they?

candykane25 · 07/11/2014 16:46

These thread titles just get ruder and ruder Smile

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 07/11/2014 16:49

Moltenpink u r to blame/thank :) for the £50 further surf dome order that went in from this house yesterday but everyone will have warm toastie socks for Xmas n also got dressing gown n hoodies cheap such bargains n after first order of £6 was amazed at quality for price n nice gift boxes for socks.

BettyOff · 07/11/2014 16:55

Buggery bollocks I cracked and bought the Playmobil nativity a couple of days too soon! I hate it when things get cheaper!

I got the Melissa and Doug plush penguin with the WauWaa code which DD will love and a blue JoJo voucher which I've got a list of stuff to search for tomorrow!

I'm now off to have another search of ELC after using a birthday code for an order the other day and getting a few bits in the Argos 3 for 2. It's been an expensive week and I've still got the Mini Micro scooter to buy!

This thread is costing and saving me a fortune and I've still got DH and my parents to buy for although those are all going to be nights away so probably not bargains!
