Marking my place.

I've lost the Matalan code - does anyone know it?

MrsS28 · 07/11/2014 10:55

25% nightwear and slippers at New Look with code SLEEP25. I was in there yesterday and they had some lovely things. Good for teenage girls

Wiifitmama · 07/11/2014 10:55

What is the website for the Italian food company? Maybe they will send stuff to us if we sign up now!

chocolatereindeer · 07/11/2014 10:57

I went real life shopping, not shipping. Obviously I've got over excited there with my bargains Xmas Grin

AFingerofFudge · 07/11/2014 11:00

Hi - I've just received my book people order. We really love some of the Julia Donaldson books here, especially Stickman and Tabby McTat.
Anyway, ordered the new one "The Scarecrows Wedding" and have just read it to myself as the DC's are at school - it is absolutely fantastic, might be our favourite one yet!

waithorse · 07/11/2014 11:24

Yes, to whoever was asking about the Playmobil nativity set. I The dc love playing with it, it's made even more special because it only comes out at Christmas. Grin

Wow Another thread already!

Feeling festive today. Met a friend at costa this morning and tried their new festive drinks. The white choc hot chocolate is yummy! Has little gold star sprinkles on top too :) ( Im easily pleased!) The sticky toffee hot choc is next on my list to try.

Finger of fudge- I didn't know about a new Julia Donaldson book. Must go look as the girls love her books!

Funky Pigeon have 50% off their personalised Calendars at the mo.. Code is CAL50

Chocolateteabag · 07/11/2014 12:32

Argh indecision!!!

Should I get the Leappad3 at £58 on Amazon or wait - do you think it's at best price or could it go lower?

Someone tell me what to do please....

Waitingonasunnyday · 07/11/2014 12:46

Achica, after mucking me about on their website, says FIRST15 is invalid Sad Thought I had tricky ungrateful stepMIL sorted with bargainous expensive candles...

steppemum · 07/11/2014 12:49

you guys are amazing, the parcels are dropping through the door, feeling organised for the first christmas ever, and all nice stuff at bargain prices.

dd1 birthday on Monday. (got fab as new gorgeous bike for £5 on ebay - my best ever bargain)

But she was looking through the toysrus catalogue that came in the post and has fallen for the Lego Friends Jungle Rescue Base. £42.99 in Toys r us.
A quick google has it from smyths toys for £31.98 using code NOV6OFF
Not sure if this is valid for other smyths toys. Only til 10th Nov.

I have spent last 24 hours trying to subtly tell her that she won't be getting it for her birthday!

Waitingonasunnyday · 07/11/2014 12:52

Achica update - it let me use WELCOME2014 to get £10 off a £20 spend, but delivery is £4.99 so its not much of a saving really. Can't find the pricey candles anywhere online so I am thinking they might be made up posh rather than genuinely posh... anyone heard of Nougat Candles???

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 07/11/2014 13:00

Can't believe how quick these threads are moving!

MrsS28 · 07/11/2014 13:17

SparklyReindeer I've got the mailing. If you add something to your basket which is over the value of £35, then enter NOEL14 it should automatically add the free gift to your basket?

AdamantEve · 07/11/2014 13:20

The Firebox code is for orders over £50, I should add!

PandasRock · 07/11/2014 13:24

earlytorise Thanks that's a great thought. It reminded me that I found a link a few years back to make personalised flick books, using video clips. The link I had bookmarked no longer does bespoke ones, but I found this site so will give them a go. She'll love it (sadly can't find a code, so not strictly a bargain, but would make a nice stocking filler)

romcom thank you for the thought. Dd1 can read pretty well (edging into yr1 levels) so I don't think it's for her. What I'm after is something that doesn't exist, I don't think - the gap in between my pal scout and 'real' music (ie iPod/stereo). She enjoys the interactivity of scout, but it's a bit too young for her now. She also loves her ipad, and listens to music all the time, but it doesn't give her the 'playing' side

I am wondering about Leapbands, as they might fill the gap - gives instructions for activities, and has simple games. I could get both dds one. They look a bit bulky though.

Guitargirl · 07/11/2014 13:25

I went RL shopping to John Lewis this morning for penguin related merchandise. Definitely not bargainous though! But plenty of wee Monties and Mabels in Oxford Street JL at the moment.

Howaboutthisone · 07/11/2014 13:26

It was fattoria la vialla- we registered last year and got the lovely freebies. Haven't had anything now though. Fingers crossed! We ordered a hamper from them for pil which was lovely but not bargainous!

Are there any current codes for f and f clothing by any chance? Or asda direct?

cookiefiend · 07/11/2014 13:31

Sorry hotel chocolat code means box £6.95 with free hand cream. Can work out without checking out whether that would include delivery.
