Useful code posted yesterday you might like is the White Company. They have 20% of online and in store. Their baby clothes are so soft. I have bought some little things for a baby that is not due till June Xmas Blush

MrsBungle · 09/11/2014 22:58

Has anyone seen any bargainous roller skates suitable for a 5 year old?

TheBuskersDog · 09/11/2014 22:59

Thanks Fluffycloud for the HofF heads up, I just managed to buy a Warehouse jumpsuit I'd been fancying for almost half price, for some reason it took off 30% and then took off another 20% so paid £33.60 instead of £60. Xmas Grin

mum2jakie · 09/11/2014 23:01

Congrats Molten! x

I'm officially finished my youngest son's shopping. Just need my oldest son's main (most expensive) item and a couple of other items for 7 year old and I will be done!

Got the Construction Build It set from ELC for £16 after extra 20% discount. Also picked up the latest Bop It Beats from Toys R Us for £11.99.

Tempted to buy the Lego Movie Super Cycle Chase set from Amazon - down to £25.99 from the £40 mark - but we really don't need any more Lego....

BumpKitty · 09/11/2014 23:01

Notonthehighstreet code is INSPIRING2014 for 15% off :)

306235388 · 09/11/2014 23:04

WildFlowersAttractBees · 09/11/2014 23:05

Thanks Bump, that was a super quick response!

Yoruba · 09/11/2014 23:08

Playmobil rescue helicopter on best price at amazon £13.91! Very pleased :) Been looking out for that for ages!

HangingInAGruffaloStance · 09/11/2014 23:28

Does anyone have the playmobil discount code? I am sure it was on this thread but I can't find it!

Hmmmwhatnow · 09/11/2014 23:36

I was drawn into the description of the Playmobil Arc but there seems to be two types?

Costco here

Amazon here

Which was the really good one? The top looks larger but the bottom looks better for little ones?

Also any suggestions on a main present for a 5 year old without spending £200 on the barbie dreamhouse she would love would be welcome!

And what on earth do you buy a 6 month old that has toys and clothes galore as hand me downs from 2 big sisters Confused

2kidsintow · 09/11/2014 23:39

Thank you to whoever it was that posted the link to the sports direct heely shoes. Dd isn't brand fussy and loved the look of them so has spent £25 of her birthday money on them. I was going to get them for Christmas but she was quick to slot them on my laptop.

BumpKitty · 09/11/2014 23:40

I'd just been looking for it myself wildflowers Grin

WildFlowersAttractBees · 09/11/2014 23:53

Thanks to the NOTHS code that is my grandparents sorted!

Does anyone have a Matalan code? I need boring things like tights for DD and photo frames.

Callofthewild · 09/11/2014 23:54

The latest Debenhams mega event with up to 25% off starts online tomorrow from 6am and in store from Tuesday. Debenhams are v expensive for toys so reckon that even with 25% off they would be cheaper elsewhere but hoping to get DF a nice pair of trousers from the Hammond range.

zipzap · 10/11/2014 00:02

Hmmmm you're right - the Costco ark is the traditional playmobil, typically aimed at 3-8 yr olds and parents reliving their childhood who buy what they wanted but didn't get when they were little

The one you've highlighted on Amazon is aimed at the 1-3 year olds - it's much chunkier and none of the teeny weeny choking hazards bits and bobs that you get with the regular playmobil.

Both are great - just depends which age group you're buying for. A 5 year old wouldn't want to get the playmobil 1-2-3 as a present (although would probably happily play with it if they already had it or a younger sibling got it) whereas you wouldn't buy the ordinary ark for a 2 yr old's 2nd birthday present - although they would probably play with an older sibling's one with no problems assuming the little bits were out of harm's way!

Age 3 - which one to buy would depend on the child, how rough they were, whether or not they were the youngest or oldest of siblings, etc etc

Even better - the ordinary Playmobil Ark is currently £25.35 on Amazon instead of its usual £60ish, so even better value than costco and I'd have thought worth snapping up if you have a child that you think will like it even if not until next year!

Playmobil Ark £26 on amazon - even cheaper than Costco

BeaLola · 10/11/2014 00:15

WISH20 gets 20% off today only at the Book People.

Whenever I buy from Book People just before I pay I google voucher.code.co.uk as there are usually 1 or 2 codes on there - they see to change frequently.

Bugsylugs · 10/11/2014 00:23

Re ZAVI. And cash back we have had nothing or any pending though it does say upto 30 days.
Topcashback are great at chasing. 2 Christmas' ago orange had £150 but only paid £50 took about a year but we eventually got the other £100.
