Playmobil summer fun pool with the whale fountain is only £18.16 on amazon now. Hope this helps someone :)

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/11/2014 12:26

Deffo pound land for battery powered lights, they have Christmas trees, stockings and snowflakes, candy canes in all different colours.

AND I can confirm after a jaunt into out loft this morning, our ones from last year that are on the DC's Xmas tree are still lit up on the same batteries, so they're going strong a year on! Grin

Can anyone recommend nice chocolates, cakes or biscuits for someone who needs gluten and dairy free? Its secret santa so £5, but I'd go to £10

catkate10 · 09/11/2014 12:41

I can recommend the pretend and play post office. It's down to 21.75 on amazon at the moment. My kids play with it a lot.

Hello! Am trying to make up a Christmas Eve hamper for DD (2.5). I want some stuff for her to do during the day with daddy and some nice things for us to do in the evening when I get home from work! I have Peppa Christmas pjs and a little Peppa selection box thing, as well as a copy of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas but that's it so far! Any suggestions?xXmas Smile

Mipe · 09/11/2014 13:55

Not sure if this has been posted already but Amazon have the Barbie Malibu House for £55 (and I think Asda might have it at the same price) Smile.

ipswichwitch · 09/11/2014 14:02

meer for dress up stuff try kiddicare here
They have fireman, police man and doctor and the bonus is they are in the sale! I got DS1 the red fireman helmet on the same page and he loves it.

JammyGeorge · 09/11/2014 14:09

Dawnky in Xmas Eve we make mince pies and a gingerbread house, always goes down well!

Just bought a little gingerbread house from b&m today was cheap as chips I think about 2.99. There was a large decorate your own gingerbread man for 1.99 as well.

Loobylou3 · 09/11/2014 14:10

thanks prizepudding.

Rugbylovingmum · 09/11/2014 14:13

dawnky1983 - I've got my girls sticker books, some cookie cutters and cake decorations (to make santa cookies) plus some glitter, glue, white and black paper, cotton wool and more stickers to make glittery cut out snowflakes and xmas pictures (cotton wool snowmen on the black paper with sticky hats, buttons and snowflakes).

Tesco or asda often have cheap 'make your own xmas decoration' kits which are also good for filling in time on xmas eve.

DD1 loved the personalised penwizard xmas peppa book we bought as a first xmas gift from DD2 to her big sister here and this year we are doing snowman soup like this.

OohOod · 09/11/2014 14:16

Wilkinsons have some dressing up stuff too.

derektheladyhamster · 09/11/2014 14:27

OMG I think I need these [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Christmas-decoration-Santa-toilet-tissue/dp/B00NSFMCWI/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&qid=1415543072&sr=8-30&keywords=box+of+tissues toilet seat cover!!]

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 09/11/2014 14:54

I'd love that in theory, derek but in my house with 3 little boys....let's just say it would seem like some sort of hate crime against Santa every day. Hmm

FlipFlippingFlippers · 09/11/2014 14:55

Frankie m&s always do some nice gluten free stuff for Christmas. Tesco aren't bad either.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 09/11/2014 14:56

Does anyone rate The Range? We have one opening up near us very soon, anxiously waiting to peruse their Christmas stuff.
