Home bargains had lots of angry birds & angry birds Star Wars bits for stocking fillers the other day.

Also they have 'sante' brand granola type cereal which my father loves & he rarely gets excited about anything-while purchasing the cashier got v giddy & said 'omg, we just tried this last week, it's amazing'. No idea why I haven't tried it yet myself but will do soon.

I'm on the lookout for something light up for outside decoration at a great price obvs that the children will love. If anyone has any recs I'd be grateful.

(Also bought the playmobil Christmas room & on countdown to putting up decorations, whoop whoop!)

Can I ask you lot a question please? You know the ikea kitchen everyone's been raving about, what sort of age is it suitable for? My dd has just turned 4, would she be too old for it? Thanks in advance. Thanks

wigglesrock · 08/11/2014 22:59

IAlreadyToldYou - I bought that kitchen for my youngest third birthday last year, she loves it and will be four in a few months, if anything she is playing with it more now and I can see her playing for a long time yet. She has 2 older sisters (7 and 9) and they will play with it with her.

TheBuskersDog · 08/11/2014 23:00

ArthurChristmas if you wait until Black Friday and buy from John Lewis they price match Apple, usually about 10% off, and give a 2 year guarantee.

IAlreadyToldYou · 08/11/2014 23:01

Ah great, thanks wiggles Smile

daddykyller · 08/11/2014 23:19

Personalised Christmas Sack on amazon local

58% off at the moment. Now £10

daddykyller · 08/11/2014 23:30

oooh- AND I've just seen you can get a Personalised Classic Wall Calendars by Tureprint better than half price on there too

makes them just £8 to have whatever pictures you want on a calender
So you could make your own "WI - style" calendar featuring carefully hidden "bits", or just put pics of your kids on for a present to the grandparents - the sky's the limit.

Don't know why but all I keep thinking of are 'baps' for some reason?

Iggi999 · 08/11/2014 23:48

Buskers - do you need to go in knowing the apple price and ask them to price match it, or is it just a general reduction

BonzoDooDah · 09/11/2014 00:11

Maxi Micro Scooter £29.99 Micro scooters £19.99 I've been looking for one for DS as he's outgrown his micro one but don't want to pay the £100 they are everywhere but I found a generic one on ebay (I searched Tri Scooter 6-12)
Different colours on ebay Can collect in store in Argos too so no postage!

Thanks for all these great suggestions!

PandasRock I love your advent calendat idea with lego - evil and genius!

IHeartKingThistle · 09/11/2014 00:43

PinkAndBlueBedtimeScares · 09/11/2014 07:12

When I went through topcashback to hotel chocolat it said it couldn't find the page :/ ?

PinkAndBlueBedtimeScares · 09/11/2014 07:14

If I stay on the hotel chocolat page it's directing me to, then just search for the tasting club and do it that way will it still give me the £ back?

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 09/11/2014 07:41

Try a different browser eg download google chrome or Firefox and try again.

Sometimes it's the browser that's the problem.

TrisMas · 09/11/2014 08:16

OhCobblers you beat me to it!! This time I made sure I ordered mine first Wink.

Lidl have some lovely xmas things coming on Thursday 13th. My sister has offered to put back anything I want when they unpack everything the night before.... eeeeee Smile. They have a lovely wooden snack stand which looks cute, either £30 or £40 (can't remember now...).

OhCobblers · 09/11/2014 08:25

Trismas I managed to get the anna doll instore last week but it's the bloody elsa doll I need now!

Lioninthesun · 09/11/2014 08:48

Has anyone tried a massaging seat cover? Any recommendations for the ones with the 'probes' rather than the heat bits?

Lioninthesun · 09/11/2014 08:49

Oh and Barbie movie collection is deal of the day on Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/gp/deals/ref=nav_cs_top_nav_gb27

RJnomore · 09/11/2014 08:53

Soooo tempted to buy dd2 a frozen doll but no. I will resist.

However I am getting her and DH the Lego star wars advent calendar and now I don't know whether to order from tesco, or wait til Friday and try to get it in the boots 3 for 2 with the advantage card extra points. Aargh. Decisons!

ConsiderablyBiggerBuns · 09/11/2014 08:56

The lovely charm bracelet advent calendar that guitargirl mentions for thewildones is from posh totty designs it is also in nothonthehighstreet for £19.50 and code HELLO14 gives 10% off. INSPIRING2014 should give 15% off but I haven't used that myself. There is postage of £2.75 on top but it looks like a beautiful and different calendar in a sort of pop up jewellery design. Would definitely have got for my DDs if they were younger.
Sorry, haven't worked how to link.
