Was there a nice wooden toy shop on a thread somewhere? Can anyone recommend one? Thanks

GerrardWinstanley · 08/11/2014 20:59

Sparkly the Asda shop/cafe at £35 gets rave reviews. We have an earlier version and it' s a sturdy beast.

itwillbecold · 08/11/2014 21:00

Sort of on topic - if anyone bought the Joules canvas bag with body products in it when it was the Boots gift offer (cost £22 instead of £45) a few threads back there is a £10 off £40 spendin Joules voucher at the bottom of the bag.

SparklyReindeerShit · 08/11/2014 21:04

Gerrard, that was the one I had seen. Glad to hear it seems to be good. Thanks.

MissRainbowBrite · 08/11/2014 21:05

Did anyone manage to bag a Snow Glow Elsa for £25.43 from Amazon?
I had a camel alert for it at 18:05 but by the time I checked my emails 30mins later it was upto £60!

bloodyteenagers · 08/11/2014 21:09

Couple of stocking fillers. Not sure what they are like, but have ordered some.
Magic jellyfish 99p for 1, £1.29 for 2 including p&p
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141351929509?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D141351929509%26_rdc%3D1

magic mini touchable bubbles, these are from Argos. 99p for 1, 5 for £1.59 the more you buy the cheaper they get. Plus you can do a store collection. Hopefully they haven't changed, had them a few years ago and when they pop they don't leave the floor wet like regular bubbles.

Novelty glasses. Again the more you buy the cheaper, 99p for 1.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190896385898?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D190896385898%26_rdc%3D1

www.dx.com is also good as well for lots of things, novelties, gadgets etc, all from China, sold in Dollars. Have ordered loads over the years without any problems.

Beadyboo - I have at least a billion and one pokemon cards, some from the 90s!

Nice to see them making a comeback, it has to be saidGrin

Would you like some? I don't even know if that's allowed? But if it is, let me know Smile

Sleepstarved · 08/11/2014 22:28

Bought Frozen stamp set in the Entertainer for £3, half price, yesterday.
Do not buy it - it's rubbish, the pictures do not come out well at all.
It's nearly all in the bin already.

ArthurChristmas · 08/11/2014 22:31

All shopping done apart from my own kids and DH (thanks to you all!), they are always left to the last minute in case of surprise Santa lists! However, following a drop of the iPad by DS last night we have now decided DD is getting an iPad mini 2. Any ideas how to get the best price?
