msaspey my dd needed a superhero costume quick ish (didn't read a birthday invite properly. I put her in red tights and a red top and cut a small pair of black tights into a pair of 'hot pants' and long legs into leg warmers to make boots over a pair of shoes. Fashioned together the incredibles logo from scrap paper and sticky-backed plastic and face painted a black eye mask on her and she went as the girl from the Incredibles.
