I missed the end of the thread again. Sad Still it must be getting closer to Christmas for this thread to be ending on a Friday, it's usually a Sunday. We must be discussing Christmas bargains more. Grin

Guitar £27 on Halloween m&ms, amazing. Grin

Oh bum. Thanks admiral - seems only small sets this year. Shame as it made boots good value! Got some fab Lego sets last year!

pmcp15 · 17/10/2014 23:00

Thanks Reastie

Petal7 · 17/10/2014 23:01

Thanks Reastie! Amazing as always!

Thanks for the Molton Brown and Amazon book codes. Up there with my favourite bargains with the Tassimo and Boden sale! The very same stuff I bought in the Boden sale then went way back in price, so very big thanks!

Happy weekend all.

daddykyller · 17/10/2014 23:22

If anyone was going to get a consol for Christmas then - on Tesco Direct right now- you could grab a PS4 (plus 3 games) for just £334 using 2 special deals that are running together, and a voucher code. There's instructions on how to get all the codes to work together on the link.

and at the other end of the 'scale' (ha ha)
Vivo© 1g-5KG Digital LCD Glass Kitchen Scales
Down to just £4.75 (A huge 76% off)

missmakesstuff I got sent one of those boxes as a present and it wasn't too bad. Couple of branded bits including a taggies toy. Guess it might depend on who the box is for?

TongueBiter · 17/10/2014 23:37

If anyone sees those mobile phone / projector gadgets, don't bother, they're crap.

IHeartKingThistle · 17/10/2014 23:40

Here you all are!

Right I've just gone temporarily insane and booked Disney on Ice tickets at the O2 for DD and me for after Christmas (the things we endure for our children!). She really wants to go but I don't think for a second she'll suspect. Although I'm getting her quite a few bits this will have to be her main present SO I need IDEAS for how to present it. She's nearly 8 but loves soft toys and is not really into Barbie-type toys so I was thinking I could get a Disney soft toy and put the tickets with it somehow? In a big box maybe?

Also, have dotccomgiftshop stopped doing deal of the day? I used to always have a little click to see what it was!

Oh and just spotted this stainless steel soap for 88p delivered. It looks a bit small but maybe a good stocking filler for a cook or something? There is a bigger one for £1.69 too.

IHeartKingThistle · 17/10/2014 23:41

Thanks tonguebiter I was considering one for DH and I have a baaaaad track record with gadget gifts as it is!

leesmum · 17/10/2014 23:53

Where's the Halloween M&M's from?....I need some please Grin

siblingrevelryagain · 17/10/2014 23:55

Iheartkingthistle

There is a Minnie or Mickey soft toy you can get from Disney Store for about £15-they're holding a big envelope and the idea is you get them personalised with your own message (my mom had one done from my sons when their sister was born). You could have it say something like "looking forward to seeing you littleiheartthistle".

If you check the website it might make more sense!

2kidsintow · 17/10/2014 23:55

If you have a peppa pig mad DC and don't want a chocolate advent calendar, there is a Peppa Pig advent calendar on Amazon for £6 (+£2 p&p).

inchoccyheaven · 18/10/2014 00:00

99p shop had marvel comic choc advent calendars.

IHeartKingThistle · 18/10/2014 00:05

Ooh sibling I like that! Do you happen to know if a) the envelope opens so I can put the tickets in? and b) the envelope is removable?

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 18/10/2014 00:23

Thanks reastie Smile

siblingrevelryagain · 18/10/2014 00:58

Iheart

I daren't sneak into my daughter's room for fear of waking her, but I'll check tomorrow and let you know (if memory serves it's no to both, but I'll double check)

IHeartKingThistle · 18/10/2014 01:22

Thank you! It doesn't look like you can I don't think.

OldRoan · 18/10/2014 01:51

thistle disney store sell bean bag type toys in a mug, could you pop the tickets in there? Or maybe get a nice photo frame and put the tickets in it, to replace with a photo of you having the best day ever at disney on ice.

Disney store sell gift boxes, so you could always buy a toy, put it in one of their boxes and put the tickets in a smaller gift box so it looks like the toy is 'holding' the present?

PoopPoooDeDooo · 18/10/2014 06:34

Iheart How about putting the tickets in an envelope tied to a disney helium balloon.
Then put the balloon in a box and wrap it up? Then it's a satisfyingly big parcel and has the excitement factor when the balloon pops out. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=disney+balloon+in+a+box&client=ms-android-samsung&hl=en-GB&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ei=7vpBVMfWFKON7Aajr4DoBg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAg&biw=320&bih=508&dpr=1.5 Like these you can buy at Argos If you have a card factory nearby they are very reasonable for baloons.
