Arghhhh

poppetina · 18/10/2014 06:51

Thanks Reastie. And thank you as well to whoever posted about the zavvi Disney DVDs. I've ordered 2 as me and 2 as my DH, but don't mind if I don't get one of the cash backs (if you're only allowed to do it once per address?) as £12.99 for 4 Disney DVDs would be a great deal anyway.

Shamazeballs · 18/10/2014 07:03

Place marking Thanks

imip · 18/10/2014 07:10

Not us of this is of any help, but you an buy back issues of kids' magazines at www.kidsmagstore.com

I've 4 dds, so buying these magazines are pretty expensive. Also, they are pretty junky, and I'd prefer not to buy landfill every week. Loads of their friends get them quite regularly, so I usually get them for special occasions (half term, going on holidays etc).

They are 50% off their cover price. My dds have no idea they are back issues. It includes Horrible Historis (great for my dd nearly 8), art-based magazines, Octonauts, Mr Tumble. A huge range for around £1.50 each!

leesmum - m&ms were from m&m world on Leicester square. They sell clear plastic dishes with different colour m&ms, so they have pumpkins at the moment. They are quite small. They also have Christmas trees, baubles, etc. Last year I bought 2 pumpkin dishes, put them out on the table at the kids Halloween party, went into the kitchen to get something else and when I got back to the table they had all gone. 10 children had managed to devour them within about 30 seconds. So I kept the plastic trays and this year I thought I would buy yellow, orange and green M&Ms to fill them as they sell different coloured ones. It's a bit like pick and mix, you just help yourself in a bag and they weigh it. Last Christmas I bought red and green ones. Anyway, I may have got carried away Blush. The party is next weekend but we may be eating M&Ms for some time...

A few bargains to be had in asda half price toy sale.

Waitingonasunnyday · 18/10/2014 08:08

Thanks for PS4 deal - exactly what DS wants for Christmas, the exact games, except the scary looking one which may find it's way to Game 2nd hand section...

I linked to the sassy box. I am REALLY sorry if it's crap. Have ordered one myself so will also be complaining if it's no good!

Titsalinabumsquash · 18/10/2014 08:09

I've been to m&m world in London, we spent an obscene amount of money on the pick'n'mix. It's easily done! Blush

Elvish · 18/10/2014 08:10

Thanks for the Molton Brown codes and tip on free delivery. I managed to resist last time but free delivery swung it!

I used house10 twice with different email addresses as it recognised that I'd used it already.

so DM done and stocking fillers for DH and me Smile .

Any suggestions for DF and DFIL? Both are easily pleased but I would like to get them something more interesting than a tie!

Howaboutthisone · 18/10/2014 08:14

First one is a stroke of genius! Thanks for all the hard work reastie

trikken · 18/10/2014 08:54

Love the first one too.

Waitingonasunnyday · 18/10/2014 09:03

First one, it's great!

I don't spend too much time on unenthusiastic people, having seen DH try and please FIL over the years and be disappointed. Not worth it! I'd prob just get them fleeces for walking the dog and maybe a nice flask.

AuntieMaggie · 18/10/2014 09:08

Sorry if this has already been posted but jumperoos on amazon

rainforest jumperoo £64.99

discover and grow jumperoo £68.99

hideandsqueak · 18/10/2014 09:13

If you ordered the sassy box be careful because I tried to get a cheapo one and cancel but you have to give 30 days notice after receiving the first box in which time I had to pay for a full priced box! Maybe I missed a trick but thought I best warn ...

OutThereLil · 18/10/2014 09:14

.

indyandlara · 18/10/2014 09:14

The magazine site is a great idea. Thanks.

marne2 · 18/10/2014 09:18

Been trying so hard not to look on here and not to day Christmas shopping but sadly it hasn't worked and I have bought a few bits Grin.

I'm looking for a few things, a cheap camcorder for the dd's to make youtube videos on ( dd1's friend has one but it eats batteries ), a jewellery box that does not play music but must be pretty ( for dd2 who is almost 9 ), any Shopkins offers, any science kits or bath bomb kits and any really cool onesies for dd1.
