Pineapple I got that bag last year for my then 10 yr old Niece. She loved it and said her friends all commented on it too :)

pigleychez · 13/09/2014 23:11

Sorry meant Ruby!

RubyFlint · 13/09/2014 23:22

Thanks pigley yes it's great value isn't it - I wasn't sure if it might look a bit nasty. But I was pleased with it, hooray!!

Picturesinthefirelight · 13/09/2014 23:42

Marking place.

mammmamia · 14/09/2014 00:53

Where is the best place to buy finger lights from this year? Want to get more as they went down well last year. Thanks!

Clarinet9 · 14/09/2014 07:08

weird I placed a huge order with Boden friday night to go to my sis overseas. I have a clear memory of entering the credit card number and seeing the confirmation screen and I can find not one trace of it

There are 6 of the things I ordered in my basket too which makes me wonder what on earth was going on.

If they have mucked it up again I might just finish with them completely I will be beyond furious

Clarinet9 · 14/09/2014 07:10

I too am lost with all the Aliexpress frozen things but have decided I want to get a couple

Can anyone tell me who has sold them nice quality dresses preferably Elsa and what the sizing is like

and whether anyone has bought a large plush doll (Anna or Elsa or both) or Sven with a Disney tag on that they are happy with and if so name the seller

thanks loads

Stickle bricks are also known as fun bricks on Amazon and often on offer we have the pirate ship think got last Xmas as an add on item for £3. We also have a box of them from toys r us can't remember name of them and to early to brave the playroom.

Chockywockydoodah · 14/09/2014 08:55

clarinet the general rule of thumb for buying childrens clothing from Asia IME is to buy two to three sizes above your childs actual age. I don't know why they seem to make all their clothing sizing so small Hmm. Buying too big is always the better option than buying too small.

MissRainbowBrite · 14/09/2014 09:07

Someone, I think it was norksEnormous, was after the vtech toot toot garage. I got the pink one last year from Amazon when they dropped it down to £20.74 and a set of 3 cars for £9.98. Put it on camel camel and keep an eye on it as they do drop prices.

daddykyller · 14/09/2014 09:13

The 1800 loom bands &75 clips are now down just 85p delivered on amazon- crazy price when it's 300 for a pound most places

And I also saw a bit of a comedy gift- not sure if I'm too embarassed tor not to post it lol........... ahh- who cares, here goes - it would make a great novelty gift for a partner/husband I think especially if you can't think of anything else for them:

Gentleman's Willy Care Kit £8.99 - and free delivery when spending £10 - but if you click on the bit underneath where it says 11NEW and go to the other sellers- you can actually get it for a penny cheaper too in total with delivery.

It says Box Contains
1 x Fluffing brush
1 x Styling scissors
1 x Sprucing mirror
1 x 'Bracelet'
1 x Presentation case

The real bit to look at is the comments at the bottom there- SOOOOOO funny- here's one of them:

"I used to be ashamed of my willy. People used to point and yell 'What an unkept willy!' I was bullied at school. But then I bought the Gentleman's Willy Care Kit, and now, instead, people yell 'What a fantastic willy!' and all my friends think I'm really cool."

NorksEnormous · 14/09/2014 09:16

Oh yes it was me missrainbow! Thanks, I will track it, although I was reading the reviews and a lot said they had bought it for their child's first birthday- do you think dd might be too old for it, she will be 2.4?

FernArable · 14/09/2014 09:36

Clarinet I got an 40cm Elsa plush from seller Sindy LaLa it's very good with Disney store tags. I think if must be a second because Elsa's right leg is pointing slightly inwards but perfect other than that and it arrived within a week! I think I'll probably order an Anna.

LINK to shop.

JessesGirl · 14/09/2014 09:54

Norks I got the Toot Toot Garage for my DTs 1st birthday, they are 3 at the end of October. It was played with every single day up until about 2 months ago when they discovered that they much prefer smaller cars like the Hot Wheels style which don't work with the Toot Toot Garage so I'm going to get them a bigger garage for their upcoming birthday. If your dd was a year younger then I would say definitely go for it, but I think at 2.4 you may be better to go with a bigger garage if that's what she likes (that isn't so bloody loud!).

poppetina · 14/09/2014 09:58

Clarinet, I once did that with jojomamanbebe, I was so cross! I had got loads of sale bargains and entered my card details. Then a page came up with the list of items on, which at a glance looked to me like I'd completed. It was only a few weeks later when nothing had arrived I checked and I must've missed a little button on that last page to confirm everything. So all my bargains had gone. I feel your pain! Hmm

Barbeasty · 14/09/2014 10:00

If you're getting stickle bricks then watch out as stickle bricks and bristle blocks are slightly different sizes and don't fit together (yes we have both thinking they would) so choose one and stick with it!

Jessica78 · 14/09/2014 10:04

Have been lurking, but spotted these: m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-claw-slippers-brown/p344876?un_jtt_v_pdp=yes&un_jtt_v_from_product=un_product_8#page_loaded

New Bear & Hare advert from John Lewis this year then? And this will be an associated product I guess?

NorksEnormous · 14/09/2014 10:23

Thanks jessesgirl, she loved playing with one in toddler group, not sure what make it was but it did look a bit more grown up than the toot toot one. DS has the fisher price little people one which she does like too, but wanted to get her one of her own. Will keep looking Smile

AtlanticDrift · 14/09/2014 10:50

Found a few things for teenage girls
cookie mirror compac
eyeliner
pen

QuicheMama · 14/09/2014 11:02

I bought 4 finger lights recently and none of them worked AngryClearly I am meant to live in a finger light free house.

I still have enough bargains left over from last year to cover Christmas this year for my girls. Just need little bits, and stuff for my boy, coming up 2.

I am looking for a frozen lunch box, a decent waterproof school bag if such a thing exists, a balance bike for boy, and the sylvanian families birthday party set at a non-stupid price.

Blondieminx · 14/09/2014 11:06

If you have any arts mad kids then these bargain pastels set of 50 for under a fiver might go down well?

Just ordered the finger lights, hope they work...!
