HopeAndStories · 14/09/2014 11:38

From HUKD- next weekend there is 20% off all toys at Smyths.

NorksEnormous · 14/09/2014 11:41

Oh hope I hope that's true!! Smile

Myhensareladies · 14/09/2014 12:00

Thanks jessica

If anyone sees any bear and hare soft toys with JL instore or online please let me know, I was here last year under a different name and tried desperately to get DD the bears but they were all sold out or selling at a very high price on eBay!

iloveholidays · 14/09/2014 12:02

Thanks Pumpkins I've ordered the older ones, maybe I'll order these for my youngest.

Myhensareladies · 14/09/2014 12:03

Can anyone link me to baby Sven on Aliexpress please? I've had a look but can't find him.

Clarinet9 · 14/09/2014 12:04

we have a wood garage from the early learning centre which has had a lot of use here

thanks for the link to the Elsa dolls they look lovely

poppetina I did wonder because I did it late but I have just been back to look again and I remember hitting the confirm order button clearly because I noticed it was very low on the page and remember noticing the 'with obligation to pay' which I have not seen before and thinking how strange it was.

I will check the credit card later and have emailed Boden and will see what they say (I have received an email back saying they are too busy to reply for over 24 hours) hmmm

Chockywockydoodah · 14/09/2014 12:09

Quiche Frozen lunchbox at Matalan £8 & free click n' collect

iloveholidays · 14/09/2014 12:09

Has anyone seen any toy shops on offer please? I'm debating getting rid of the toy kitchen and replacing with a toy shop..... They tend to play with the kitchen bits but not the actual kitchen itself these days.

Clarinet9 · 14/09/2014 12:19

Quiche I got a balance bike on ebay which was great might be worth a look. It was a new one from a shop

scoobdoob · 14/09/2014 12:21

BADVOC, Could you tell me the link for frozen things please? I don't really understand the aliexpress. How does it work??? but can manage amazon!
Thanks

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 14/09/2014 12:34

Ikea are doing a range of stuffed animals that could pass as Bear & Hare & friends. They were in baskets in the kid's section.

Myhensareladies · 14/09/2014 12:39

keep thank you for the suggestion but DD has AS and can't get anything that isn't exact past her. Smile

BuddyKringleberry · 14/09/2014 12:54

iloveholidays I can't link as I'm on my phone but Asda have a lovely wooden market/shop/cafe for £35. I hope they still sell it in June as I've gone overboard on my kids for Xmas so will buy it for my twins birthday if they still sell it x

evelynj · 14/09/2014 13:01

I've done my first aliexpress order with the obligatory frozen dolls for my niece or dd-will see!

I've always been guilty of buying pressies for other people that I would enjoy & want as little as possible big or bitty toys round the house-so something that I've ordered for ds-(5 in nov) is a Tibetan singing bowl to add to his instrument collection-he loved one in a little shop yest but was £45-just £8.61 on aliexpress. May also get the tingsha cymbals as they are pretty fun.

Off to get this no more socks app as am sure I'll end up overspending again if I haven't already!

AtlanticDrift · 14/09/2014 13:33

Evelynj I'm off to google tibetian singing bowl, sounds inderesting

JessesGirl · 14/09/2014 13:41

Damn the 20% off at Smyths next weekend looks like it's in store only, the nearest one to me is about 2 hours away :(

accessorizequeen · 14/09/2014 13:45

Appreciating all the links, I used the works free delivery code on Friday to order annuals. Those buying loom charms there have been health warnings about these, carcinogenic. I binned all the ones I has bought.

Badvoc123 · 14/09/2014 14:25

Oh hell!
I will try but I am useless at links :)

Badvoc123 · 14/09/2014 14:29

Right...it want amazon at all it was ebay!
If you search ebay for "frozen tiara" it brings up loads, ditto frozen jewellery.
Mine was £3 for the tiara and 99p for the bracelet.
Hth x

Badvoc123 · 14/09/2014 14:31

Just got back from ikea and they had locked little wooden shop tils :)
No Xmas stuff in yet though...

TheImprobableGirl · 14/09/2014 14:41

Thanks future some lovely lights on that site!!

Badvoc123 · 14/09/2014 14:59

anyone got any gift wrap recommendations?
This year I have none left over from last year (most unusual)
I got 2 rolls in the sale at John Lewis and have seen some nice 3for2 at matalan but I can't seem to get the discount to work online (?)

cabster · 14/09/2014 15:01

Xmas puddings now in tesco! Wonder if I can persuade DH to bring me one on the postnatal ward? Hmm

Primark have fleecy throws reduced from £5 to £3.90- I bought 10! Some of them are ridiculously Christmassy, I bought red tartan, snow leopard print, cream with a nice silver scrolling pattern, baby blue with cute owls and red with cute owls. There were also plain colours at the same price (red, cream, purple, taupe etc) and they're nicely parcelled up in ribbon.
If gifting I'd consider wrapping in cellophane or similar first, I can see myself putting my finger through the wrapping paper as the contents are so soft...!

LokiBear · 14/09/2014 15:10

I can vouch for the £35 wooden shop. Mine arrived yesterday and it is lovely. I'm do impressed with the quality. The finish is so much nicer than the picture suggests. I've also bought a shopping set with plastic tins and food boxes from B&M. Bought a plastic ice cream set from there too. I think they were £7 each and come in mahoosive boxes that will look fab when wrapped!
