Thanks for the new thread Jersey! Thanks

Home Bargains have some Fijit Friends Newbies for £4.99, also some Boofle socks like these with girls names for £0.39 (not many names left but luckily found dd's Smile).

Badvoc123 · 13/09/2014 18:06

Wibblyjelly I got cot and cot bed Christmas duvets from H&M last year, they were only about £5.99. I think their range comes in about October.

Clr2014 · 13/09/2014 18:35

Great bargains on the Boden Clearance site... but i HATE the way things 'disappear' from your basket before you get the chance to checkout because someone else has bought them first Angry one of you lot nicked my twill jeans

TheOneWithTheHair · 13/09/2014 18:39

Reastie · 13/09/2014 18:42

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry, I'm still here! My laptop has broken and won't be fixed until next week and in the meantime internet is tricky and I can't get to my op document to do the op, argh. I'm feeling very cut off but will be back proper soon. Are we all OK here for a couple of days or so?

Jersey mucho thanks

JerseySpud · 13/09/2014 18:44

For anyone making up hot chocolate hampers, these French coffee cups are half price at moment from £9.50 to £4.75. They hold 350ml and are great for making hot chocolate with a little whisk.

They only have coffee, chocolate brown and raspberry which are nice colours for adults. I'm looking for exactly this for DC, so if anyone sees anything similar but in primary colours, please let me know.

NorksEnormous · 13/09/2014 18:47

Feeling very Christmassy today so got a tub of Cadbury heroes with my shopping today- just had a proper look there and they have taken out bournville and replaced with toblerone! Shock Toblerone isn't even Cadbury...I feel cheated Hmm

RJnomore · 13/09/2014 18:48

Found you all!

I have a suggestion for anyone with tween children who like mario (or my teen would love it)

Yoshi pillow pet style cushion, it's amazing, dd2s friend has one, they are around £13 on eBay. If you google yoshi cushion they will come up from a few sellers.

Reastie · 13/09/2014 18:55

Toblerone in Cadbury heroes? It's just not right!

I've just been looming at Christmas bedding on Amazon, can't link but they've got a few sets for around the £15 or just under Mark. Very tempted but also debating pushing the boat out and waiting to get an elf on the shelf one from potterybarn assuming they will do them again this year... can I justify the cost..... it will be used for a month every year for years..... does anyone know when they put them on their site? And if anyone local to me wants to share an order to split postage costs from America let me know.

GerrardWinstanley · 13/09/2014 18:58

Back in pre-child days when I had money AND time to pay some attention to my skin, I used QVC quite a bit - getting premium brands when they had today's special value" - l'occitane, liz earle, decleor. Re-registered last week and just been posted a voucher for £10 off a £30 purchase.

Also .......[drum roll]
.... not bargainous but the John Lewis website has opened its Christmas department

HopeAndStories · 13/09/2014 19:00

I've just bought my hamper baskets (all 9 of them Shock)

I got these ones reduced to £3 each and if you spend over £25 you get £5 off with code TDX-KJYT, so I got 9 for £22 :)

I figure filling them with lots of little bits and with some nice tissue paper in there, then wrappd in cellophane and nice ribbons, they'd look nice.

I also got some Christmas bits from Matalan (and clothes on top oops!) including-

These wrapping sets on 3 for 2 so I got 9 rolls of wrapping paper, tags and ribbons for £8
This tissue paper on 3 for 2 so I got 15 sheets for £4
Two of these stockings for £6 each
Six baubles for £6
These not so bargain but lovely Christmas lights for £15
I also got 2 lovely hessian gift sacks for £6 each but they've completely disappeared off the website Confused You can just see the top of them on the main Christmas page Hmm

As I'm a Matalan black card holder, I was sent a 25 and 10% off code but I think they only work for me but if you're a black card holder hold on and see if you get sent one too. There might be a code somewhere though (I always check HUKD before I order anything for a code)

Thanks to whoever mentioned that Matalan had some Christmas stuff in Thanks (though my bank account doesn't thank you Wink

HopeAndStories · 13/09/2014 19:01

Oh they also have those baskets in cream.

wibblyjelly · 13/09/2014 19:07

Notso, thanks will keep an eye out!

iloveholidays · 13/09/2014 19:30

elsa and Anna

NigellaEllaElla · 13/09/2014 19:31

I LOVE these threads but dear god I never thought I would be so sick of seeing a retailer crop up on 99% of messages. I wish I could block AliExpress posts Grin

CallingAllEngels · 13/09/2014 19:42

pink I saw some stickle bricks in ELC a few weeks ago, but they were called bristle blocks instead, here.

Probably get them cheaper somewhere else - they're on amazon too.

iloveholidays · 13/09/2014 19:43

Pumpkin, can I ask you to link to the Anna doll you ordered please? Wondering whether to get a smaller one for my younger daughter. Thanks

Methenyouplus4 · 13/09/2014 19:44

Can I have your thoughts please? DS will be 20 months at Xmas and really want a kitchen as his main present. Should I go for Asda / kiddie care ones which are around £30 or ikea which is £60 but height adjustable? Don't want to get something he can't reach/ has to 'grow into' as he'd probably love one now so want one that would be suitable straight away. Thanks.

Methenyouplus4 · 13/09/2014 19:50

Can't link on phone but BHS have x3 long sleeve minecraft tops for under £4 but only age 5-8 in stock.
