As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

Just want today thanks to whoever posted the zoology book from amazon at £6, kids are animal daft (aren't they all?!) and it's brilliant, a beautiful book. LOVE this thread! Smile

It's only the spoke beads I was bothered about so will hunt for some more cheap ones of those & bung the rest in "save for later" for the mo until I can be arsed to spend a day randomly hunting around again.

I did find 36p princess tattoos though after dd came home from tea at a friends waffling about them Grin

Wow, just spent the best part of 45 mins catching up in this thread. Last year I discovered lots of lovely things including flavourly, hotel chocolat & ds us still getting boxes if awesome

Love the Tassimo fever. I bought a Tassimo for dhs birthday last year when it was in the sale at Argos fir £40. He loves it (as does dd) it is used most days.

I'd like to start early but have no idea what to get people. I already bought dd a set of discontinued Lancombe juicy tube lip glosses in the January sales. She wants a phone upgrade (Nokia lumia on PAYG. She is a dance & theatre mad almost 13 year old.

Ds wants a copy of Fifa 15 & anything Minecraft related especially a Stampy t shirt.

Thanks for the advice, Oodlive. I emailed Amazon and they have agreed to refund the cost of the Baileys (two bottles) in full because of the short date and have said I can keep them!

does anyone know if soletraderoutlet.co.uk is a genuine store? I mean the uggs aren't fake are they? I'd save a good chunk on an xmas prezzie if they're genuine Hmm

Anneter sole trader is a high street shoe store so this outlet website is legit.

lucysmam I bought those tattoos for a party a few months back and they are super value. Easy to apply and they come out looking great and last for ages! DD still loves them today! Easiest way to remove them is with baby oil.

Where is Wait monkey Horse when you need her?

Have been lurking on the last couple of threads - but feeling like a bit of a sing song to get this thread put to bed.

Anyone joining me?

We do stockings here. Dd has quite a big one that I fill up with all sorts of things, maybe about £20 worth. The aim is to keep her amused for as long as possible so that I can get more sleep! Bits that go in it:

  • Books
  • Maybe a cheapish dvd (I always find bargains in Poundland - second hand 'replay' dvds with a Christmas theme always go down a treat)
  • Some cheap plastic collectible tat - last year it was Moshi Monsters and Squinkies that I'd found for £1.00 a pack
  • A Christmas themed colouring/sticker book
  • A pencil case with all the junk that goes in it
  • Costume jewellery
  • Silly wee play sets that I've picked up in the sale - last year it was some kind of animal in my pocket type things
  • A pair of super soft slipper socks
  • A pair of magic gloves
  • Some sweeties - coins, a chocolate santa and a small tub of jelly sweets

There's usually also a bigger 'special' present left on her bed next to her stocking. Last year it was a reindeer out of Build A Bear. Santa left her a note explaining that her name was Prancer and that she had been chosen to take extra special care of her for him. Damn thing didn't leave her side for weeks.

I wrap up some new pj's and slippers for her with a nice book (last year it was the Snowman and the Snowdog with audio cd) from me and they get opened on Christmas eve. She wears the jammers to bed and we read the book in front of the lit fire. It's sickly sweet and I bloody love it Grin

Bigger presents from Santa are always wrapped and under the tree in the living room, and she doesn't get to them until we've woken up, had some breakfast, fed the animals and gone to pee. I take a cuppa in with me and sit and listen to Christmas music whilst she opens all her things Smile

I love Christmas!
