As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

Hello wonderful people, I am spending a fortune thanks to this thread (but have been spreading the deliveries out between work and home to try and avoid awkward conversations Wink). I was wondering if anyone had seen any good deals on toy garages? Ds will be 2 just after Christmas and I think he would enjoy playing with one. At a friend's house they had a sit on digger which he liked, any ideas where I might find one of these?

NigellaEllaElla · 01/09/2014 21:18

Oh there was a great ride on digger on Groupon last week. It was a bargain too.

NigellaEllaElla · 01/09/2014 21:21

Awwww it's sold out! www.groupon.co.uk/deals/national-deal/gg-groupon-goods-global-gmb-h-78-4/43751962

Might be worth a google search though now you have the details.

NigellaEllaElla · 01/09/2014 21:23

Groupon have a Pirate Ship should be £49.99 and it's £12.98

Donthackmenow · 01/09/2014 21:24

Thanks nigella, I will have a look.

Annetter · 01/09/2014 21:26

Those after jellyatrics,

they are 1.50 in Hawkins bazaar

I bought them for DH - he scoffed them and missed that they were jellyatrics not jellybabies until the last few, when I asked if any had zimmer frames Confused

They also had smartphone gloves reduced to 3.98 in there too...

Snitch necklace

Chockywockydoodah · 01/09/2014 21:36

Loads of lovely stocking fillers at Ocado. Some remind me of the type of things I used to get in my stocking as a child, like the magic slate! Also loads of mini stocking filler packs of Playmobil for a few quid.

Also really like the idea of the Eggnog Table placemat (for children to doodle/colour in at the dinner table).

MsAspreyDiamonds · 01/09/2014 21:56

Book People pop up shop tomorrow at St Thomas's Hospital, Waterloo, London. Tuesday 2nd September 10-4pm
in the Bird Corridor ground floor

I bought the Julia Donaldson audio collection for 10 rrp 40! So a bargain plus no p+p to pay.

TenMinutesEarly · 01/09/2014 22:14

I saw a ride on digger in home bargains last week

Annetter · 01/09/2014 22:15

Woohoo just ordered DH an ipad keyboard & case 16.98 with delivery off of groupon. He's been moaning all weekend that he needs a new mac -hopefully this will persuade him he doesn't if I can get him to hold out a few more months (shouldn't be hard, no way can we afford a new mac currently!)

as well as a few iphone charger cables as they break every few months so no doubt will be a wanted stocking filler for him

GrinGrinGrin oh someone save me from spending all my money tonight on Groupon!!

Ps: did anyone find out if those Oakley sunglasses further down the thread were a genuine offer?

daddykyller · 01/09/2014 22:15

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - Singapore Playset
It says RRP Price: £50.00
Sale Price : £6.99 and 99p delivery
(86% off)

A quick google search reveals that there are shops trying to sell his for £63, (and a couple of others under £10, but then delivery involved too brings it up again).

I think this is defnitely the best price. Good bargain I think :)

NorksEnormous · 01/09/2014 22:18

Oh another one here who is looking for a ride on digger/tractor whatever type thing for a 4 yo!

Annetter · 01/09/2014 22:47

Tescos def did a JCB ride on tractor for about 12 quid a few months ago. I was going to get one for upcoming birthday but haven't got round to it yet. It says that it's unavailable online but there may be some left in Tesco stores...

Donthackmenow · 02/09/2014 05:41

Looking on the home bargains website and have discovered there is one 10 miles down the road, exciting times! They have the little tikes coupe car for £39.99 (instead of £54.99) in both pink and red- the pink is £44 on amazon. It isn't a massive bargain but I feel like I have contributed Smile

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 02/09/2014 06:28

Toys r us do a v good copy of John deere ride on tractor and trailer n usually on offer fry £50 my dad brought for my little one last yr.

Reastie · 02/09/2014 06:43

I'm apologising in advance but DD has been ill so I haven't had a chance to update the OP for next thread. Off to work in a min but if anyone has time please feel free to message me the main good links (laid out in the same kind of way as the op ie name of shop, offer/code, link with 'here' would be perfect, hope that doesn't sound too fussy just makes it easier for me) from this thread? No pressure and hope you all don't mind me asking. If you do, maybe say you will on the thread or I might get a few people doing the same thing Thanks

waithorse · 02/09/2014 07:33

MrsFox, Tickseed has gone forever. Sad

TheFantasticMrsFox · 02/09/2014 07:52

What??!!!

Methenyouplus4 · 02/09/2014 08:04

So, I got my latest Joules order, and instead of the £5 gloves, there's a £45 dress (rest of order is correct)? Wondering if I should be honest but thinking my mum would very much appreciate a lovely dress! GrinBlushGrin

curiousgeorgie · 02/09/2014 08:51

I would keep it Wink

TeWiSavesTheDay · 02/09/2014 08:55

What have they charged you for?

If you ring I wouldn't be surprised if they say you can keep it.

Methenyouplus4 · 02/09/2014 08:57

They haven't charged me, according to the order form I have the gloves, not the dress. Confused
