As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I've just realised it's dh's birthday next month so he can have the tassimo then not that I'm impatient to use it or anything so need to get thinking of something else for Christmas.

Tesco had crayola felt tips at half price today if that's anygood to anyone. Cheaper than their own brand ones.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 01/09/2014 17:30

Perhaps a good present for hard to buy slightly older children, this Maps book is at it's all time lowest price on Amazon as is the Maps Activity book

I have them and they are the most beautifully illustrated books that really intrigue children who are interested about the world.

My coke bottles are here. I really should have paid more attention as they are pretty small! Only 200ml (it does say clearly on the website but I didn't click how small that really was), the usual glass ones are 330ml (same volume as a can) so 200ml is titchy.

I still really like them, just a heads up for anyone who hasn't ordered yet so they know what they're getting. Though I expect everyone else reads better than I do. Blush

Clr2014 · 01/09/2014 18:19

Aw, that's disappointing about the coke... I ordered 13 bottles... Prob would have still ordered but was expecting the std size ones.

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 01/09/2014 18:22

wildflowers was it this one? I bought one to go with my nephew's presents but hasn't arrived yet.

My 2 tassimo machines arrived today only meant to order 1 didn't get any text or email to say they were being delivered... Was beginning to think they would cancel my order.

Kittymouse.

Tesco direct also do the Live Pets and are included in the double up points at the moment. Cages currently OOS though.

Wildflowers did you mean these watch

o0 · 01/09/2014 18:33

A pic to show the size in comparison to a normal sized tin. Grin

And why did I have to order an Alexander ffs? Only ever saw Alex and one time Alexandre with an accent over one of the letters. Sigh.

Some fab ideas - thank you!! I'm definitely going to do the warm wooly socks, the hankies, the chocolate coins and I've also managed to get some 'jellyactrics' which are jelly babies shaped like old people with zimmer frames and things. Got some for my dad aswell, theyre fab!! £1.99 on the works!! He's recently bought a park home and has just finished refurbishing it. He doesn't have much of a garden (unlike his last house) so I don't want him to feel sad about it, so I may avoid gardening stuff... however, the gardening stuff sounds fab for my mum!!

We have an m&s outlet in our town so I think I will head there to get warm socks, hankies and maybe a funny xmas tie to wear on xmas day.

NorksEnormous · 01/09/2014 18:51

Wildflowers those watches don't have the best reviews- this ones around the same price and seems a lot better!

wigglesrock · 01/09/2014 18:53

Snappybadger - thanks for the link to the map books. Dd1 and dd2 are mad about maps and reference type books. They'll be delighted.

GiveMeCheesecake · 01/09/2014 19:03

Thanks everyone for sharing their stocking habits and apologies for clogging up the thread!

Think I'm definitely going to do the main present plus lots of small bits tat as it seems to be the popular choice on here and it doesn't sound like it causes any children to lose their Santa spirit!

Reastie · 01/09/2014 19:07

o0 *I've got that wallpaper

A woman of impeccable taste you are, Reastie. Grin

Pink birds on it? From Laura Ashley?

snappybadger · 01/09/2014 19:24

Glad to help wigglesrock :) My ds loves maps too and is forever pointing out puddles/clouds that are shaped like Australia!

o0 · 01/09/2014 19:28

I need those map books to stay down in price a while longer. I have spent all my spendy money and have only needed money left until next week. But I waaaaants them.

Bloody children and their need for food and warmth.

AtlanticDrift · 01/09/2014 19:30

Kegirlonfire the jellyatrics sound hilarious! I might get those

AtlanticDrift · 01/09/2014 19:34

Zipzap those money tissues went down a treat with my dc. A good stocking filler for any age. They really looked like money

blindcaptaincat · 01/09/2014 20:01

KEGirl - how about air freshener for the car? Posh coffee or chocolate covered coffee beans? Pickle/chutney/jam/mustard (choose your weapon!)? Gloves? Penknife? Posh nuts? A scratchcard?

Onelittlepiglet · 01/09/2014 20:04

Hello, I've been lurking getting some ideas but finally have something to share (hope it hasn't already been linked to!), not a bargain as such but a nice gift..

Just bought dd1 one of these stencil sets and a few more for the present box and to give as gifts. They have we few different ones fairy tale, dinosaur, zoo animals, robots etc all around £6. There are also some finger print art sets from the same people and they are £7+ I think they make nice gifts for people but also a good stocking filler!

TheFantasticMrsFox · 01/09/2014 20:25

Ooh, I have just logged into the wonderful Tickseed but it says the store is closed :(
Is it one of those stores that only opens for Christmas or has it gone for good and if it has where else is cheap for stuff like that?
