We need a new thread to continue the very successful countdowns of 2013 and 2012.

And before anyone does the Hmm face (or Xmas Hmm face ) take a look at some of the 'Panic Threads' at the end of December when people were "Twitching" and stressing.

Organisation is key.

(I just need to find somewhere that'll work out how many days it is Grin )

It won't be long until we are in the 100's! The time is flying by! :)

This year is going scarily fast imo

JonSnowsPout · 29/04/2014 16:34

Put £80 in the Christmas tin today.
Have decided to do Christmas day at hone this year so am going to start sticking on a sainsburys card to spread the cost.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/04/2014 18:16

239 into the 230s yesssss

I have amassed over £40 on my Nectar Points (smug) mainly by clocking up the Double Points/Extra Points deals. By Christmas I usually have £150 which is brilliant- huge guilt free shopping spree awaits.

Today, I had no internet Shock so I did some tidying (non-work day) and I cleared some lurking rubbish from a cupboard and put it in a chest of drawers to make my New Christmas Hidey Space Grin
(This isn't for presents or cookery stuff-that goes in the Christmas Cupboard . Nods sagely)

ooh has it got some lovely sun and moon decorations in it that were "in" in the 90's 70 ? I used to work in a gift shop then and still have some I bought then that are on my tree every year.

Just ordered my panto tickets for christmas eve.
Cinderella this year. And it's the first time ds2 will come, he will be four so hopefully he will enjoy it

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 07/05/2014 10:18

No suns'n'moons nick (I had a navy duvet cover with bronze/gold sun and moon patterns ) loved it Grin

They seem to focus heavily on tartan (which I always think is more New Year than Christmas)

Jon panto for a 4yo is lovely his eyes will be on stalks Grin. I took DD when she was 3 to see Dick Whittington , she was Shock at the green King Rat baddie but really loved it.
DD and I go to the ballet for Christmas , actually that's reminded me, I must look and see what's on Smile

cheekycherryza · 10/05/2014 08:08

OMW! Can you really get panto tickets so early?

I wanted to get some panto tix to a local production but didn't think they'd be out for months yet.

cheekycherryza · 10/05/2014 08:13

marking my place

cheekycherryza · 10/05/2014 08:15

If anybody's up for some christmassy talk and ideas I have a facebook group called best christmas yet. We've been discussing teacher gifts.

Marmaladecat1 · 10/05/2014 08:17

Ooh can you send link please?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/05/2014 10:01

The Pantomime is on the website for our local theatre, so I reckon the opoular dates will get snapped up early.

My DC are at the 'cinema on Christmas Eve' stage now, not Panto Sad
