We need a new thread to continue the very successful countdowns of 2013 and 2012.

And before anyone does the Hmm face (or Xmas Hmm face ) take a look at some of the 'Panic Threads' at the end of December when people were "Twitching" and stressing.

Organisation is key.

(I just need to find somewhere that'll work out how many days it is Grin )

I've just read the thread and now I want to watch Christmas films and drink hot chocolate. The sun is shining and it's lovely and warm but I am craving a Christmas fix Grin

Urgh.

I've bought some lovely decorations on ebay though and a couple of other bits.

There are tons of fir cones on a road near me Grin
I used to go down there with bags and the DC would collect them and at Christmas we'd spray them silver/gold.

I remember one year looking in December for fir cones but they actually fell from the trees in April/May Confused

Good afternoon everyone. I've emptied out my designated holidays/Xmas fund to go on holiday.
Have to build it up again.

Have emptied a couple of boxes and set them aside as "present" boxes and am definitely starting to buy gifts from next week.

I never knew thst about about fir cones: Mumsnet: edumacational

I had a Christmas dream last night! In it I asked my dh the date and he said 24th December, I had basically forgotten about Christmas and we didn't have any presents, food or Christmas tree Shock I remember in my dream trying to find food and presents in Tesco. Very bizarre!!!

Smilesandpiles · 23/05/2014 16:33

That's a sign that you have to start now 50 and redoubling your efforts Wink
