We need a new thread to continue the very successful countdowns of 2013 and 2012.

And before anyone does the Hmm face (or Xmas Hmm face ) take a look at some of the 'Panic Threads' at the end of December when people were "Twitching" and stressing.

Organisation is key.

(I just need to find somewhere that'll work out how many days it is Grin )

Hope you are all well.

The Christmas Shop at London Bridge? Who knew? I do now!

I was drawn into The Christmas Shop, but couldn't linger Sad (years ago, kept saying I'd go back)

Those Christmas Shops that spring up in Lakeside and Bluewater (and probably most shopping centres) have all the decorations but no scently candles.

Think of it this way now. its 9 months till Christmas.

If you buy 2 gifts a month thats 18 before Christmas. Your friends and family would therefore be done.

We're not nutters, we're sensible! Grin

That's exactly what I think JerseySpud

Just checking into the thread. I have been trying to stay away but realised that as I already have DD's main Christmas present and a few others for her and I was just checking the Christmas cake ingredients in the cupboard for use by dates, I thought it was too late for me to pretend this thread wasn't for me.

I am tempted every year by a Christmas village - where are you getting your ones from? If I could buy a bit each month then that could be hidden from DH would make it more reasonable.

I am so excited already. How sad.

I've ordered some Christmas ribbon to make into bows for my DDs for their Christmas eve hampers.

Ive ordered my veg and cake selection from Park Hampers and ive ordered a wooden kitchen for the DDs and we are saving our change aswell as Morrisons stamps.

Im like a big kid!

Hello everyone and welcome all new people

I'm going to start Christmas gift shopping this week. I've seen a couple of really good gifts for particular people that I'll buy and lay aside.

Also; does anyone else find that their local pharmacist sells top end perfumes/aftershaves/smelly sets with - continually - really good discounts?

I have this and I may buy those now for Christmas or birthdays.

caramelwaffle · 13/04/2014 07:52

Oops 256

254 I bought a Christmas jumper in the sale from ASOS which arrived today. its lovely and sunny outside but want to wear it now Easter Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/04/2014 18:46

Ooh we have Easter Grin bunny emoticons.

Wear the jumper with pride and a fairly liberal splattering of Right Guard nick

I bought a gorgeous plum fleece lined coat for my DD on the hottest day of the year a few years ago.
I got Easter Hmm looks from the cashier.

nickdrakeslovechild · 16/04/2014 09:27

Damn, jumper is huge. It looked big online and I got a small when I am a medium/ large so it's got to go back. Easter Sad

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/04/2014 11:29

Got DD another couple of small presents yesterday when I found some Sylvanian Families stuff on sale.

I need to start looking for stuff for the table stockings for everyone, as that always takes time.

caramelwaffle · 16/04/2014 12:56

Yankee Candles are selling Christmas/winter candles at half price or less.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 16/04/2014 14:42

Does anyone know where I can get Christmassy-smelling incense cones?

I was given a beautiful Villeroy and Boch Christmas ornament which burns them last year, and I would love to be able to use it properly this year.

leesmum · 17/04/2014 16:44

Caramel which website did you see the Yankee Candles on sale?

caramelwaffle · 17/04/2014 16:46

Just had a quick google.

The best place for cones and such with a Christmas theme seems to be a place called "wonders in wood - the German Christmas shop"

caramelwaffle · 17/04/2014 16:48

Hi leesmum The YC website itself www.yankeecandles.co.uk . They were also for sale in the local department store recently.
