I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

No need to be sad guys - didn't we start in July? We can always start earlier next year? February? Grin

My flavourly Christmas box came today so that's DHs food hamper finished and wrapped and looking lovely and then I realise the little pack of two Baci (Italian for kiss Blush sweets) I bought in cafe nerro aren't in it.

Dd1 is currently hunting her room for them... She had better not have eaten them!

Oh, phew, found you all, I saw the last thread was full and literally sat here whimpering until I did a little search on the 'Christmas' threads :-)

If everyones bored then you can all help idiot me :o

I still need to do a gift for a dear friend of mine who's had an unbelievably shit year, has no money and will have nothing to open on xmas day (all their money has gone on 1 gift each for their DC)

I've actually bought and given her her gift but I can't bare the thought of her having nothing to open so would like to do a mini bag of lovliness

Only problem is I can spend £10 tops tbh

I already have a Baileys miniture...and that's it!

I also need 2 gifts for her 17yo boys (max £15 for both) because the last gifts were in the bag that disappeared!

Oh and I need them by Monday :o

Ooh can I have the final thread baby then? Ds2 arrived 2 days late on Wednesday. Thankfully giving me time for one last panic stagger round Wilkos and the Sue Ryder shop (where I managed to get a Golding easel for DBro for £5 and series 1-5 of the people show for £8 for DF)

I'm officially done, but as will have to take DS2 in for hearing test next Mon or Tue (we begged to be let out after min 6 hours) may have to do a little shop just while I am able.

It must have taken some nerve to put it through the checkout. I'm always worried in case I don't actually get the discount.

Phew I've found you!

Many congratulations Chocolate kudos for fitting in bargain shopping so close to the end!! Xmas Grin

Tonight I'm giving my ladies their Harrods stuff. I think I'm more excited about that then seeing my kids open their presents.

On another note, I went to asda at 12.30 last night (well this morning I suppose), quite expecting it to be busy and it was very quiet. Quieter than a normal Friday.

They have the Christmas decs half price, and some git sets reduced too. Cards and wrap are still full price.

Still no tree up chez Oreo. Panic, Panic.

I didn't think you could get stuff that low here ( unlike the US ) so well impressed!

Report
Oreocrumbs · 21/12/2013 09:49

That would be gift sets, not git sets. Although I can think of some people I could send a git set too.
