I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Zhuzhu hamster set comes with one hamster and 4 vehicles. The entertainer had hamsters at £2 last week. Didn't get the puppy set so can't help with that

Congratulations chocolate and neddie!
I have been through the parcel mountain and only thing missing is the body shop freeby for whatever mag it was. I shrieked with glee when the finger lights, bird scarf and snitch appeared I can tell you.

The twitch saw dd and I in poundworld for decks, wilkinsons for owls and home bargains for festive tins. I will return on Monday without dd for a paper jamz microphone and some daleks!

Body shop things from glamour never arrived but I can't complain, have had so many super Christmas bargains thanks to this thread. What month do we start for next year? Mulled Wine to all!

congratulations choc and meddle Xmas Grin

Lego could you put some choc coins and a satsuma in your friend's box? Also - any dvd's that are yours but you're not likely to watch over Christmas that she might like that could be on loan with a bag of pop corn and a promise to lend her another one when she has finished it? You could make a funny label or cover for it, to say from lego's lending library so she knows that it's not for keeps but it's a nice thought and something to open and do.
Pound land has some nice nail varnishes (opi, revlon, Sally Hansen) for a pound - a nice nail varnish, some toe separators, varnish remover etc would probably thus cost £2-3 from there.
They have also had some nice travel sip top mugs in there that I bought for dh from recommendations on here as they are dishwasher proof unlike the metal ones. Could be teamed with sachets of hot choc and a little pack of little marshmallows.
Places like b&m etc often have cheap but nice sauces and spices that are maybe closer to their use by date than a supermarket would want but still with several months on. Might be a nice treat to perk up some meals as I'm guessing that if money is that tight then you are not going to splash out a pound or two in the supermarket just on spices. I got a bottle of Vietnamese dipping sauce the other day purely because it was called Zum sauce and the name made me smile. (actually quite nice- a mild vinegar with hint of sweetness, bit of chilli and some different spices).

Also - could you sign your friend up to get some fattoria goodies - not that they will be there for Xmas but you could say there will be something coming near end of jan to look forward to.

Thank you Reastie! It's been so nice to have finished early with huge discounts. If only my new nephew hadn't made an early arrival into the world last night I would have got everybody sorted Grin Where do we start the New year sales thread?!

I felt physically sick today when I saw crackers and an owl I bought two weeks ago are now half price! Just can't stand missing a bargain.
And then my attempt at making Paul Hollywood's stollen from the tv the other night failed. It just didn't rise and my yeast is in date and everything. Bah.
But I have all presents sorted, even for last minute extra guests showing up in Saturday.
I have next three days to do little jobs and get some food prepped.
Am so so sad these threads will end though, I love checking them and finding I've got a few pages to read. My DH will not miss the credit card bills or parcels though? Xmas Grin
Thank you so much Reastie and all who have contributed, Wine all round.
Congratulations to all the thread babies and mums, and thread up duffs.

Thanks to two fabulous MNers- IHeartKingThistle and SweetBabyJebus ,who have donated a necklace and time on photoshop to my plight Wink ,I think I'm almost sorted

Please throw Thanks their way because they are both truly amazing! And thank you to everyone who helped...I SO appreciate you all xxx

I just need to get 2 gifts for 2 17yo boys and my friends bag of lovliness sorted and I THINK thats it!

Furthering the bargain hunting, I nipped into Tesco for some milk and came out with
2 x bags of Chantany carrots
2 x bags of parsnips
2 x bags of sprouts
1 huge bag of king edwards
2 x pack of pancetta
1 pack of green beans
1 pack of nectarines
1 pack Chipolatas

For the princely sum of £4.15 :o It's so rare they have reduced bargains in there so I'm thrilled as thats veg, the sausages for pigs in blankets and the pancetta for the sprouts for christmas sorted!

And to think I was only going to take the exact change for the milk!
