I didn't even realise the last thread was nearly at the end Blush

As usual I'll stick the long OP in the next message, but haven't been so diligent about keeping it updated since it's so close to Christmas and it's all slowed down, sorry.

Spotty I think Wilkinsons have hobby horses if you're looking to replace before Christmas.

Could you chop the bottom so it is smooth and call it a hobby Shetland pony?

Grin Valium. It was only a stocking present I'm still annoyed though. It's plastic with a material cover so can't fix or chop!

Hello everyone. I lost track of these threads a couple of weeks ago,but wanted to say thank you to everyone. Of course, I have bought far too many presents but so pleased to have got some utter bargains. Thanks too for the hints on shops in London, I did get there and was pleased to fly over with just hand luggage and return with a 20kg suitcase full of bargains!

The good thing is, several relatives sent me money and asked asked me to get DDs things on their behalf so I have got some great things thanks to these threads.

I will keep on having a cheeky look, but hope everyone has a very happy Christmas.GrinWine

This has been such a great thread over the past few months and I can't thank you all enough for introducing me to camel camel camel! I can't stop thinking about the lady who needed the bear and the hare for her daughter - does anyone know if she had any luck? I do hope so. Merry Christmas everyone!

When very frustrated with 'the build' do not attempt to rip out an incorrectly placed joining widget with front teeth because too cross to use supplied tool (rubbish story)

Thank you dietcoke. I guess I best join up for quidco. I am sure I have missed out a lot by not doing so already.

Phew! Found you all at last, I was beginning to panic. I have saved so much thanks to this thread but bought far too much I'm now stashing away for next Christmas to justify it all! I always thought I was a good bargain hunter until I started reading these threads. My friends and my mum have also saved a fortune through bargain info I've found out on here Thanks

Arrgh. Just found out that the bargain Debenhams wrap I bought ages ago is 1.5m each. 1.5m!

I can't go and get anymore as ds has chicken pox. Hopefully the M&S 1/2 price stuff for next year will turn up before Xmas.

First present out of the starting blocks was the redstone minecraft book. One happy nephew although it did mean that we didn't get much conversation!

Report
LaTrucha · 23/12/2013 08:04

Yes, the Debenhams wrap is really mean, isn't it?

Major twitch here. I've sewed the kids some stockings and they're much bigger than their stocking presents! Argh.....

latrucha a comic/magazine loosely rolled with the free gift on the outside are your friend in taking up lots of space. Plus if they are getting things like underwear, wrap them individually, loosely rolled like a cracker with ends of paper sticking out and taking up lots of space.

Hello everyone! Fell off the threads for a bit as my other prep went into overdrive.
All is wrapped just have Imaginext castle to assemble, non bargainous trainers from Next to collect, bargain M&S order, and a mountain of cooking and baking to do!
I have lost a parcel in the house somewhere Confused it's only a DVD though. Had a major twitch about DS1 then wrapped it all and had forgotten about loads of stuff!
