Just that really. Keep looking at them as an option for 5yo DD1.

No he doesn't use it as a pillow, but other friends have regular pillow pets and they don't use those as pillows either really! You could use the non plastic side I suppose... I like it anyway because it means he doesn't wake me up as often in the night. Pillow pet makes quite soothing light.

DD(11) has one and I got my DN(6) one last Christmas. They both love theirs.

I'm getting DH one for Christmas as a joke , because he's always moaning about not having enough pillows in the hotels he stays in!! Grin

CissyMeldrum · 28/10/2013 18:21

GwendolineMaryLacey · 28/10/2013 18:35

I was wondering if she was a bit old for it but it almost looks like she's too young! Am definitely going to get one though.

Luggage16 · 28/10/2013 18:51

mine have them (3 and 6) and love them.

NaturalBaby · 28/10/2013 18:55

I saw scooby doo ones for £20 which I'm very tempted with but have 3 dc's so am trying to find decent £10 ones!

Crutchlow35 · 28/10/2013 18:55

DS has been asking for one and he is 5. Might give in.

SweepTheHalls · 28/10/2013 18:55

Home bargains have non branded ones cheap as chips, both my boys have asked for them for christmas- result!

Catmint · 28/10/2013 19:00

My dd has a Toothless one. ( dragon from How to Train Your Dragon).

girliefriend · 28/10/2013 19:03

My dd has a lion one and a ladybird one, she saved up and bought them with her pocket money.

She loves them Smile

They came from Argos and I would say are worth getting, she has taken them to sleepovers, on holiday and they are useful on long car journeys to lean on.

Dd is 7yo.

Thanks mittens!

nickdrakeslovechild · 28/10/2013 21:25

My DD (2) has the pillow pet and the pillow pet blanket, she likes the pillow pet but LOVES the blanket.

maybe3x · 28/10/2013 21:28

Have got my 2 the light up ones for Christmas, they have fake cuddleupit blankets and love them. Smile

curiousgeorgie · 28/10/2013 21:42

My DD (3) has four!!

My parents, my best friend and us all bought her one last Christmas...

Then last week she fell asleep in the trolley at sainsburys and looked so uncomfortable I picked one up to put under her head on the handle and she dribbled so I felt compelled to buy it!

She loves them, tries to sleep on them all at once Grin

keli5325 · 28/10/2013 21:51

these are on groupon for £13.99 at the moment Smile

GwendolineMaryLacey · 29/10/2013 14:30

I had a look at the ones in Sainsburys and they're very little. Are they mini ones or are they all like that? For some reason I thought they were bigger!

pigleychez · 29/10/2013 16:08

Ive bought a Unicorn and Hippo for DD's 5 and 3 for Xmas. From Sainsburys for 9.99 each.

Also spotted them in 'The Entertainer' today for £10 too. if that helps anyone.

DD's both got Cuddleuppits from the grandparents at xmas and they love them too.

InTheRedCorner · 29/10/2013 16:16

DD has this one unicorn it's a good size and very soft! she also has a blanket with a dog head and paws attached which she loves.

InTheRedCorner · 29/10/2013 16:17

Both still going strong after a few machine washes since last Christmas.

toffeelolly · 29/10/2013 18:02

my DC (3,6,9yrs) all got the cheap ones last Christmas - they've lasted fine and have been VERY well used (they have them on top of their real pillows). We also love STOMPEEZ - the pop up slippers, thought they'd be a gimmick but they're so fun !!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 29/10/2013 18:45

Thank you! That was my next question. DD1 has seen an advert for some funky slippers, anyone know what they're called? Except I couldn't remember enough about them to describe them!

7 and 5 yr old DSs love theirs (bought them for me and they kidnapped them humph!)
