Thanks moosey can't believe they haven't done the £10 off voucher this year, that has been a mainstay of many of my Christmas/Birthdays for years!

Brockle · 20/10/2013 16:02

20% off all toys on the woolworths website incl the furby boom for 48 pounds . Smile Smile

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2013 16:17

Thanks Jilted brill name BTW, love that song. We will be ok but just have had a really shitty year with bereavement and a MC and now with Xmas looming I am a bit worried. The boiler broke down today as well, never rains but it pours! and leaks through the hole in the roof we can't afford to mend

The nuts about you Jar made me cry a bit, but it has been a long week! I am definitely going to do that for DH, I teach ceramics so will make a jar with a lid for him, he likes nuts!

The Peppa Pig DVD looks great, thanks Moosey, have preordered for DD, she now has for Xmas from us:

Peppa Pig headphones £8 from Aldi (so we don't have to listen to Peppa for the 10th time when she watches the DVD)
Peppa Pig socks - Poundland - bargain! They had a few designs, about a week ago
Peppa Pig DVD - £3
Fake Lego castles - £11.50 with postage

We are making her an Elf for the shelf, might buy a secondhand book, plus have the night before xmas book and CD recommended on here I think, for an Xmas eve present.

Just need to find her a nice new toothbrush (poundland probably!) and some Pirate underpants - she really wants some and we promised we would ask Santa to exchange her pull ups for some (she is 3 and has issues with withholding poo so still in pull ups)

We are probably going to tell MIL about the Kiddizoom for £29, as she would love that and MIL usually spends about £50 on her, I reckon the rest could go into savings for her then.

I will make her a basket for her scooter and she will no doubt get lots of other bits from family, so that will be her done.

Just got to sort DH now, he has a voucher for all you can eat buffet in the hilton canary wharf for the two of us, a subscription for a cycling magazine so far, both from Groupon. Will make him some cufflinks, apart from that I think it will be all.

Sorry, wittered on a bit...

One code I found was for a personalised book from penwizard - £2 off 14.99, so not amazing value, but might be a nice present - enter code 919897.

shoppingbagsundereyes · 20/10/2013 16:36

Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but amazon has annuals half price today. Just got ds' Beano for £4. They didnt get much cheaper than that last year.

notso · 20/10/2013 16:37

scarerandfuck bananas are a brilliant idea, DH loves bananas so perfect!
I've been sitting going through foodstuffs trying to find what else would work. We're plums/raisins/tea bags about you didn't have the same ring to itGrin

SarahAndFuck · 20/10/2013 16:47

Glad to help notso. Not sure what made me think of bananas. It definitely wasn't the box of chocolate ones I bought in lidl and ate by accident earlier. Oh no. Grin

Anyone have any ideas for cyclists? DH has just bought himself a road bike, whatever that means, and he has a phone app that tells him how far he's travelled and on what terrain. And a puncture repair kit. I'm not sure what else a cyclist might want or need.

wonderingsoul · 20/10/2013 16:58

Groupon have about 7 hours left on an online children's story writing course for £12, might be a useful gift for an aspiring teenage writer? Have just bought the course for myself - hope this helps someone!

DaffodilsandSnow · 20/10/2013 17:16

Thank you to whoever posted about the kiddies apron & chefs hat in Aldi. Popped in earlier and they still had a few designs left.

FarOverTheRainbow · 20/10/2013 17:24

Has anyone seen toy robots but I'm looking for quite a big one that can walk and maybe have some kind of voice command? Any one? I'm desperate, I've looked online but can't find nothing

creepycadence · 20/10/2013 17:25

Thanks for the info regarding the Woolworths saleBrockle. Does anyone have a free delivery code by any chance/any other promo code for Woolworths? TIA :)

DuvetHog · 20/10/2013 17:28

missmakestuff primark had some pirate themed pants in yesterday. Obviously they are in the boys section Hmm as girls don't like pirates & are a bit boyish, again girls only like pink Hmm but it may be helpful!

I may also ask u a clay / about pottery stuff question later if you don't mind?

numberfloutyfour · 20/10/2013 17:39

marne... I had just done a Boden order without the code, and then saw your post. I called them and they added it on saving me another £10! Just wanted to say thanks Flowers

Chockywockydoodah · 20/10/2013 17:43

cataline Lovefilm 6 mnths £10

numberfloutyfour · 20/10/2013 17:45

sarahandfuck- my dh is a cycling geek and I got him a cadence monitor for his b'day. He absolutely loves it. It tells him cadence, miles, time and speed. But get a wired one, rather than wireless. It's a bit of a faff to put on, but the wireless ones are terrible at cutting out because of interference. this one

SarahAndFuck · 20/10/2013 17:51

Thanks numberfloutyfour I will have a look at it.

MooseyMoo · 20/10/2013 17:57

marne thanks for code, it worked for me. I got a shaggy lined zip up for DD (these are so lovely and comfy), a pointelle tshirt, and new pjs for DS

littlemissmaker you can get the kiddizoom plus for £24 at Smyths using primary5off

Somersaults · 20/10/2013 17:58

Any ELC free delivery codes floating about? Or any ELC codes at all?

YellowDahlias · 20/10/2013 18:01

Thank you for that Boden code tip. Just bought a few things to pack away for Christmas.

craftynclothy · 20/10/2013 18:08

Thanks Marne Got 20% off a couple of items from Boden and a clearance item (no discount on that though). One will do as a Xmas present to me from my Mum (she gave us cash to get something with). Actually I bought craft stuff with some of the cash so I might just say two of the Boden tops were from her as she'd probably prefer to buy me clothes. I'll just wrap them all up so it seems like I have more presents please say I'm not the only one

Rubybrazilianwax · 20/10/2013 18:10

sarahandfuck lidl always has great cycling stuff in. The padded bum cycling shorts from there are good

Reastie · 20/10/2013 18:11

mismake hope next year is better for you.

There's whispers on a boden fb group about code stacking alongside 40% off in sale at the minute.....am off to investigate

OP posts:
Reastie · 20/10/2013 18:19

OK, couldn't get codes to stack and ended out getting in the sale this cat skirt for £14.40 when full price it was £24. I couldn't resist Blush . DD has a similar one but with rabbits on and she ALWAYS gets comments on how people love it when she wears it!

OP posts:
Somersaults · 20/10/2013 18:25

Reastie, that cat skirt is £18 when I click on it? It's so cute!

PigtailsAndPlaits · 20/10/2013 18:28

missmakesstuff They had Peppa pig toothbrushes in B&M the other week two different ones in a pack for £1
