I will not mention the last thread.

missmakesstuff Its a sell near enough everything shop a bit like Home bargains? Have you heard of them? I'm in London.

jamtoast12 · 20/10/2013 20:14

Furbys £48 at Very but there's 10% off your first order so £43 will free delivery with click and collect.

SpookyTeacakes · 20/10/2013 20:14

I'm in the south east (Sussex) and we don't have b&m or home bargains Sad

ThisIsMeNow · 20/10/2013 20:16

kids apron

I got these two as gifts, tree was £15 apron 89p!

Looks like this thread will be finished soon. Can't believe we'll be on 16! Wow!
Thanks so much for all the post and for getting my shopping done so easily Thanks

iloveholidays · 20/10/2013 20:16

Father Christmas comes up tumps £4.49

WannaSplitAPineapple · 20/10/2013 20:18

I'm in the north west and we are over run with B & M and Home Bargains. It's hit and miss but they do get good stuff in. The only problem is you go in for something like toothpaste and come out spending £40!

healthyoption77 · 20/10/2013 20:20

Im also in Sussex with no b&m or home bargains. :( Im tempted to move north just to be closer to one :D

iloveholidays · 20/10/2013 20:23

I have a few dermalogica samples sat in my bedside table which I don't think I'll end up using. If anyone wants them for crackers/advent calendar etc feel free to PM me and I'll put them in the post.

No idea if this will be popular or not, so sorry if so. I will probably just go for with first come first served (although if Reastie wants them she might take priority in thanks for this amazing thread :))

Hope this all seems fair!

giraffeseatpineapples · 20/10/2013 20:28

I ordered this CHRISTMAS WII GAME for £6.75 yesterday based on mse reccomendation. It has an advent calender function, bowling with santa etc and is supposed to be fun for children.

ipanicked · 20/10/2013 20:33

Sarahandfuck

I love this neck warmer/buff for winter cycling?

My very annoyingly fussy cycling mad DH has had cycling caps, cycling jerseys, waterproof socks in the past, wiggle are really good and cheap for all of that stuff. He's also been eyeing up these USB charged cycle lights which are ace and really bright but not a massive bargain...

Sleepstarved · 20/10/2013 20:38

Great Little Trading Co Mumsnet13 code does not work on sale items and there is a £4 delivery charge, so decided against ordering a nice magnetic 'beautiful day calendar' where you stick on day of week, what weather is like ect.
Have ordered lined fleece from boden for DD1 as someone posted up thread, so thanks for that link. Says new customers get gift but didn't mention it when I placed order, although I am completely new. Does anyone know if it just arrives?
Am looking for a nice non-plastic nightlight/lamp for DD2's room if anyone spots something (they are £40 Shock on GLTC).

Reastie · 20/10/2013 20:38

Right, I'm turning the computer off for the night......will you need a new thread before tomorrow morning or keep it in less than 63 messages? You're going to need a new one aren't you..... I'll set it up in a min and fingers crossed monkey comes along to fill this one up Wink

MooseyMoo · 20/10/2013 20:40

sleepstarved send Boden an email, and they will add it to your order. Their customer service is excellent

MistressIggi · 20/10/2013 20:40

Meer I was thinking of the Asda market stall last week, and it was OOS online, but I registered for the stock alert and it came back in in a couple of days - even though it was a sale item.

Ilikesweetpeas · 20/10/2013 20:41

Reastie, you are very dedicated but we do appreciate you!! I have had some super bargains off this thread but I still have quite a few people to buy for. Aiming to be pretty much done by November Smile

Reastie · 20/10/2013 20:45

I'm dedicated, but not dedicated enough to stay up late to set up a new thread Ilike Grin

Righty-ho new thread here . Please feel free to use up this thread Thanks

Samples gone, sorry if anyone else interested.

roslet · 20/10/2013 20:49

I've just bought the Boden skirt for my cat loving and trouser hating daughter. Thank you Reastie and Marne! I went off Mini-Boden stuff after a hideously unenjoyable 90 minutes as part of one of their focus groups, but this skirt is super cute and will remind me of this thread (and Reastie's celeb-type endorsement) rather than that morning.

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2013 20:51

I'm in Kent and I don't think we have either B&M or home bargains. My mum and dad used to live in the midlands and they said shops like that were great, one was called QD? Don't have it here though.

Will try ebay for toothbrush etc for dd, thanks anyway!

Sleepstarved · 20/10/2013 20:51

Thanks for the tip Moosey, have just emailed them.
Reastie, thank you for these threads, am mostly lurking and buying but am completely addicted and rarely venture elsewhere on MN at the moment.
A day is not complete without an order placed and a delivery received Grin.

lilylaville · 20/10/2013 20:53

Is anyone going to call waitmonkey?

Spooky There are some B&M stores in Essex, a little closer than oop North :)

I need some ideas for my 70 year old Mum. She has no hobbies doesn't knit or anything like that. Not interested in spas and clothes are a no no. I usually buy a day out for her but want something different....

Also need some good deals on photo books with nice photo covers not the leather ones. Can anyone help please?

TooWetToWoo · 20/10/2013 20:53

One of the conditions for me moving to where I live now was it having a Home Bargains (or home and bargain as it's known). I really feel for people who don't have them, it's my favourite shop by far!

Titsalinabumsquash · 20/10/2013 20:53

I'm South West Sussex, the local Home Bargains is in Waterlooville so about a 25 minute drive but it's worth it, I've also discovered Dulnem Mill is a lot closer than I thought too! Grin

RhondaJean · 20/10/2013 20:55

Ooftt I've spent the afternoon in real life shopping and its been brutal.

It's awful out there and it's only October. However the half price four seasons tin from markies is absolutely lovely, I took one to my mum.
