If anyone sees any moshi monster bargains could you let me know? DS has decided they are the coolest thing ever! Smile

RiverRocks · 17/10/2013 15:41

B&M again (I work next door, it costs me a fortune!)

  • 12m wrapping paper 99p. It's very thin, but I plan to use it to wrap empty boxes to put under the tree [illusions of poncy-ness emoticon]
  • 170g Toblerone £1 - no stocking is complete without one
  • 5 rolls of 30m Sellotape 89p
bluesky · 17/10/2013 15:45

I've just been doing my Christmas Calendars. 50% off at Snapfish until tomorrow midnight (Fri 18th). Code 50CAL1013. Really easy, great backgrounds, different sizes.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 17/10/2013 15:46

spooky was it you who wanted a mamas and papas code? I registered ontheir site and they sent me a catalogue which very nearly went straight in the bin. Luckily I opened it and there was a £5 gift voucher in there. Not much if you are getting a big item but better than nothing.

immovingonup · 17/10/2013 15:50

.

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 17/10/2013 15:53

Checking in! I've missed the last few threads! You are all amazing! Grin

zipzap · 17/10/2013 15:53

The other day, b&m also had mini robosapiens for £8 instead of £15 on amazon. Obviously at that price functionality is more limited than the big one at £70ish but it looks cute and will make ds2 very happy as he loves robots.

SpookyTeacakes · 17/10/2013 15:56

Wanna I'm already registered but thanks anywaySmile

Chelvis · 17/10/2013 15:59

thanks lolly and mooseymoo - Thomas is a great stocking filler. I'm 99% done now! Converse watch arrived today and bought 'the night before christmas' for a Christmas eve afternoon treat too.

the robosapiens mini robot and mini dinosaur are in smyths toys on the 2 for £15 deal as are the little pillow pets. The 2 for £15 metal detector is no good though, so avoid!

Thanks Reastie Thanks

Isaacs please, please, please come back Cake Wine

I am slowly getting everything together and think I may be done by the end of October. Which then gives 2 months for food bargain shopping.

If anyone sees the slushy cups on offer again then please let me know as they are back up to £11 on Amazon, I'm hoping they will come back down again when Argos do the 3 for 2 offer. I have 6 more to buy.

Titsalinabumsquash · 17/10/2013 16:03

I've filled my 7 and 9 yo stockings with various practical joke type things, it'll be fake poo a'plenty in this gaff come Christmas Grin

Now ladies, if anyone sees an amazing bargain on a bread maker I'd be grateful, it's for me Smile

Whereisegg · 17/10/2013 16:04

Shameless place marking Grin

WeleaseWodger · 17/10/2013 16:08

WannaSplitAPineapple · 17/10/2013 16:08

I hope you do come back isaac . Don't let the grinch drive you away.

Fluffytent · 17/10/2013 16:09

Can anyone recommend an alternative to the boots beauty advent calendar?

The selfridges one is £80 Shock and the Benefit is £50.

Thanks in advance!

FernArable · 17/10/2013 16:09

Gah! That Thomas is out of stock already! If anyone see's anymore Thomas bargains please post DS 2.5 is obsessed, tracking a couple of sets on CamelCamelCamel at the moment.
I ordered a Flavourly box yesterday but didn't get a confirmation code. Anyone else?

IHeartKingThistle · 17/10/2013 16:09

Serial lurker delurking to say I LOVE these threads!

I'm an idiot. Can someone slowly talk me through the basic premise of the cashback sites? Which one is better - quidco or cashback? Do I have to give them my details?

If it hasn't been mentioned already, dotcomgiftshop have a great sale on Christmas decorations.

lazzaroo · 17/10/2013 16:11

Thank you to whoever gave the 'Santa is coming to...' book hint. Mine arrived today & I love it Smile. by pure chance our home town features heavily so it'll be a perfect Xmas eve read.

SpookyTeacakes · 17/10/2013 16:11

Might try dp's name and email Smile I need to get ds a stocking to go with dd's.

WeleaseWodger · 17/10/2013 16:15

For anyone who needs plain quality tshirts from gap (Whig never seem to be on sale), they're still giving 15% discounts if you sign up by giving them an email address. Which you just write down. And they don't check.

This is my 3rd time sign in up :-)

I use the long sleeved white tshirts so little ones draw (with fabric paint) some original artwork for daddy's Xmas morning "pajama" top

craftynclothy · 17/10/2013 16:16

IHeartKingThistle Basically you set up an account with basic details and then search for the retailer you want. Then click through their link and you get some money back (though it's never guaranteed). If you want paid into your bank account you have to give your bank details but I don't think you have to if you'd rather be paid in Amazon vouchers (or similar).

Personally I prefer topcashback as I find the layout simpler. It's worth having both though because sometimes one will offer a much better cashback deal than the other as an exclusive.

wonderingsoul · 17/10/2013 16:16

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2013 16:18

These owl shaped magnetic bookmarks look lovely. Perfect for stocking or party bags

And eligible for free delivery!

Snowgirl1 · 17/10/2013 16:18

Titalina Aldi had breadmakers for £34.99. Not sure if they'll still be in store, as I understand it they have specials buys each week and aren't re-stocked once they've all sold, but it might be worth checking your local one.

Snowgirl1 · 17/10/2013 16:21

Anyone know where I can get lots of white pom-poms at a bargainous price (without having to pay postage)?
