I will not mention the last thread.

I have spent the afternoon on this thread (& previous, ignoring the bunfit) and have now bought 7 gifts, saving myself a small fortune! so thank you very much :)

ValiumQueen · 17/10/2013 18:40

Hello new thread :-)

WaitMonkey · 17/10/2013 18:50

Spooky, I've been number 1000 twice. Sad

I need to get out more. Grin

JaquelineHyde · 17/10/2013 18:53

Ooooh slushy cups are sold at Boots and on 3 for 2....I have £40 worth of points to spend. Excellent saving all round!

A bargainous food and drink thread would be great, be sure to link to it here if you start it!

CatAmongThePigeons · 17/10/2013 18:53

Wait next time we are at the end of a thread, we should all vow to leave it until you fill it up. You've been had every other thread Grin

Anyone help with presents for FIL? Drinks wine and gardens but doesn't read books

TooWetToWoo · 17/10/2013 18:54

Good idea ilove

LovelyWeatherForDucks · 17/10/2013 18:58

Just to add that Boots 3-for-2 is pretty good - lots of toys eg ELC, Happyland, Lego, vetch etc. Worth comparing against amazon etc but good if you have points to spend.

IsThatTrue · 17/10/2013 19:03

Thanks for new thread reastie

I have now finished Xmas presents except stockings. And birthdays of dd, ds1, ds2, bil, DH, mil and FIL (all between now and Xmas)

Just stockings now!

comeandgo · 17/10/2013 19:03

Please start that thread ilove Smile

Barbeasty · 17/10/2013 19:07

Was someone after the ELC garage? Had junk mail from them today and it's in their half term half price sale at £25. The sale started on the 15th.

WaitMonkey · 17/10/2013 19:10

Bless you for thinking of me Cat.

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 17/10/2013 19:10

I fell off the thread, 2 threads ago and I miss this thread.

fivefoottwowitheyesofblue · 17/10/2013 19:15

Free P&P on Seasalt - MEVA2013. Unfortunately doesn't stack with the 20% discount mentioned on the previous thread but useful for the Jute bags which are great teachers gifts. I'm sure they must get fed up with mugs and chocs Grin

Also not online so no link but I have bought some lovely stationery for an 11 year old girl from Sainsburys. Lockable diary - £1.49, A5 pad 99p, matching pens x3 89p, purse 75p etc . Got a cute cartoon dog on the front - fab quality, would make good stocking fillers.

AuntieMaggie · 17/10/2013 19:15

Cat that is my FIL too Grin No idea what to get but he might end up with a dressing gown or jumper!

hooded onesies

hair chalk might be good for a teen?

notso · 17/10/2013 19:16

Yes please to bargain eating and drinking.
I have my secret Santa now > it's SIL 2, gutted.
She likes designer, she would buy a dog poo if it had Armani on it. She had no hobbies apart from shopping. Last year she had perfume. The budget is £50 HELP!!

bluesky · 17/10/2013 19:19

CatAmongThePigeons, does FIL like feeding the birds, mine does, so bird tables, or hanging feeder things etc, plus feed (which can be quite pricey) always goes down well. They like to watch the birds in the garden when its horrible in the winter and they can't go out.

And earlier today someone posted that Crocus has 40% off bird "things" can't remember what specifically!

Nanny25 · 17/10/2013 19:20

Snapfish have 40% off all Canvases until midnight 23rd Oct. CANOCT13.

creepycadence · 17/10/2013 19:23

HenriettaPye There's always loads of Moshi bargains in Home Bargains.

Has anyone bought and received the finger puppets from amazon linked in the first post and if so, what were they like? They look lovely and are a fab price but some of the reviews aren't very good.

Littlemousewithclogson If you're still about would you mind linking to the pink furby you mentioned earlier please? I can't see it anywhere. TIA Halloween Smile

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2013 19:24

notso what about a beauty subscription. Glossybox has a 6 month subscription for £50

hermioneweasley · 17/10/2013 19:24

Notso Whistles have a lovely leather make up/clutch bag about £40 I'll see if I can find a link.

VeeVandTeaDrinkYourBlood · 17/10/2013 19:29
Thanks
Kat3L · 17/10/2013 19:32

Thanks Reastie for the new thread and to Mooseymoo for the owl bookmark link, I'm going to order a pack for my DD's party bags.

I also hope Isaac returns, some of my best bargains have been as a result of her posts. And it''s not just been a thread about Christmas bargains but also a friendly, chat-filled zone until the recent craziness. I really hope we can get back to that Smile.

BeaLola · 17/10/2013 19:34

Notso - how about the fox fur stole for SIL 2 (on Style and Beauty Thread). - made me and DH laugh sooooooo much.

That said Chanel Mirror for handbag and get it spectacularly gift wrapped with samples £25 plus what about a glam mag subscription as well ?

Mipe · 17/10/2013 19:36

Cat and other people with FIL's (or other people) who like their gardens, I would recommend this:

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00AJG65Z4/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1382034847&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

along with some of these:

beefriendlyseeds.com

I know I have mentioned them before but they really are nice, I have bought them for a few different people now :).

LaTrucha · 17/10/2013 19:41

notso - how about Brora glove. There's a code for 10% off a £50 spend upthread, but of course they're all £49. Still lush.
