MissElodie · 18/10/2013 08:54

sorry on phone trying to post quickly - its the blue micro scooter

JugglingFromHereToThere · 18/10/2013 08:56

Just need to mark my place whilst you're top of active convo's - and I can see why - very impressive Reastie - and will definitely help me this year as I'm really broke (join the club ?!) A couple of years ago Mumsnetter's helped us so much with finding a great table-tennis table and DH found other games table in charity shop. DCs have had a lot of fun with them all & DS had his friends round for a games tournament birthday party last year which was great too! Thanks all

Moodykat · 18/10/2013 08:56

No time to check if already posted as it will go back up soon but Micro Scooter £40.83

MissElodie - Cracking price for a micro scooter. Only 2 left. Wish I'd waited - there is a Mookie scooter in our garage for ds's Christmas.

Rubybrazilianwax · 18/10/2013 09:00

chooccywockydoodah that yada yada is a super little toy. I paid £7 for it last year, dc are always playing with it.

WeleaseWodger · 18/10/2013 09:00

Zuilily are having a half price sale on felt toys and felt Xmas decorations from Danish designers en Gris & sif

Dont think a link will work unless you're a member, but here's a try toys and Xmas stuff.

For those who aren't members, some of their things are here at full price. The crown sock is at 14 at zuilily, there's two brown gingerbread houses, and a Christmas house (but oddly under toys in zuilily events) for 19, nativity set for 30.

Also lots of adorable felt bags including a blue/green spider bag and a yellow bee bag. Would it be wrong to order them for myself and pretend they're for the kids....

TooWetToWoo · 18/10/2013 09:02

I ordered the 6pc family finger puppet set, they're really good for the money. I ordered 6 sets for various family babies and I'm impressed.

They're not packed in any fancy way, just squashed into a clear bag then placed in a yellow parcel bag but it all came to less than £12 so I can't complain. They did take a little while to come but did arrive before the latest date estimated.

I'd definitely recommend getting them, I reckon the animal ones would be very similar quality.

Rockchick1984 · 18/10/2013 09:03

Mrswishywashy I couldn't get the birthday code to work on sale items, only on full price. Are you near a Mothercare as they will order it into store for you, so no delivery charge?

CacklinCrochetKate · 18/10/2013 09:07

mama have you tried scotland yard, my friends and I are obsessed!

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 18/10/2013 09:10

Scrabble trickster is a good game - the winner is a bit more random, rather than just being the most wordy person.

Arianasmummy · 18/10/2013 09:13

Beawheesht Thanks

DH had suggested a go-kart, so this seems a brilliant idea.

Also found their homepage and if you like them on Facebook you can 25% off.

Just found this rather nice wooden toys on e-bay.

Wooden Pull-along Snake, Pull-along Turtle or Wooden Hammer Bench £4.99

Only 3hrs left on the listing though by the looks. Smile

Ragwort · 18/10/2013 09:26

Mama - have you got Articulate? Rummikub? We also play Careers (my own game from childhood - must be 45 years old Grin).

Mama1980 · 18/10/2013 09:28

Thanks so much Thanks everyone. We have articulate - agree its awesome especially given the whole families inability to form a coherent thought once the timer is turned GrinBlush
Scotland land looks great and I will check out the other suggestions I haven't heard of.

Moodykat · 18/10/2013 09:31

SilkySocks thank you for the Vertbaudet code. A pair of jeans and a baking set for £9.99. Bargain!

Rugbylovingmum · 18/10/2013 09:37

Morning Reastie, I joined Zulily this morning and ordered these cute suitcases for DD to keep all her barbie clothes and shoes in plus a fairy trinket box for all her 'bling'. I clicked on your link so hopefully you'll get a referral credit - let me know if it doesn't work and I'll drop them an e-mail for you.

98percentchocolate · 18/10/2013 09:40

Oops. DH off poorly today and Christmas tree just arrived. It is so huge that even if he hadn't taken the delivery I wouldn't have been able to hide it.
Blush

Wrt the finger puppets - they are great quality for the price. I got the animal ones in the op. Dd loves them - one of her favourite toys.

LoreleisSecret · 18/10/2013 09:40

Missed the blue micro scooter on amazon ?? feeling sorry for myself. Might go buy some Terry's chocolate oranges and sulk Smile

creepycadence · 18/10/2013 09:43

Littlemouse Thank you for looking for me anyway Flowers

DrHorace Thank you, I'd love to hear what they're like when you get them.

kryptonite I recently bought some lovely albums from Boots for 6x4 photos. All their albums and frames were half price. This was a few weeks ago so the offer might not be on right now but if it's not I'd hold on for a bit because the promotion is on quite regularly and I'm betting will be on again before Christmas. I always get my albums from Boots and always wait for this offer. I never have to wait too long.

NewShoesTwoShoes · 18/10/2013 09:43

Set of 6 small glass Christmas baubles £4.95 (reduced from £8.95) at dotcomgiftshop. Only 4cm but look glittery and pretty!
Decorations

I am tempted by this "Season's Greetings 1950s" Christmas doormat £9.95 (repeat - it is NOT a bargain if you do not need it...!)
Doormat.

Cute for dinosaur fans - Dinosaur lunch box "Deal of the Day" £1.95 (was £5.95) - plastic with fork and spoon.
Lunchbox.

creepycadence · 18/10/2013 09:46

TooWetTooWoo Thank you for that, I think I will order them then. For that price even if they are poor quality it's not like I've wasted a lot if money anyway.

creepycadence · 18/10/2013 09:50

98percentchocolate Thank you, another vote for the puppets. Off to amazon to order them Halloween Smile
