Thanks for another new thread Reastie Flowers

nice to see you back Smile

Thanks to the OP who mentioned the Matalan code, I took a trip there today and bought a nice grey fairisle throw which looks Christmassy but wasn't in the 3 for 2 offer so I managed to get the 20% off. Bought dressing gowns and hats and scarfs for the DC too.

I'm still awaiting my watch and mag (can't remember which one it was)subscription too and its been quite a while.

Thanks also for the heads up on the ELC half term sale. petty I am planning on getting the garage and using a birthday code too - it should work fine. I think I best return some of the things I got recently in the 20% ELC sale in an attempt to pacify DP when he sees another massive box arriving!

BTW Zest magazine are offering 3 for 3 pounds and a free sanctuary gift set worth 47 pounds at the moment

bemybebe - there has been some bargainous Duplo on amazon so put the sets you're interested in on camel camel. I also suggest getting base plates as they completely change what you can do with the Duplo. DD finds it much easier to build with a solid base.

poop - I was going to get the JL combi pram for DD. It's not bargainous at £50 but seemed the most sophisticated. However, I saw it in store the other day and whilst it seemed good value for money (it felt more sturdy than the pram I had when DD was tiny!), changing the position etc required a bit of force so I had visions of DD constantly asking me to do it or her or DS getting fingers trapped. We've gone for the ranger but haven't unpacked it yet so can't comment.

Thanks for the tip on the Asda slippers. I've book marked them. I was after something really loud and fluffy though. Doesn't matter if it's women's although I shouldn't think they'll come in a size 10!

No emails about the printer. Status says, not yet dispatched.

No body shop freebie either.

Can anyone see/work out what the Sanctuary gift is with Zest? Had a look on the link, but it just shows a pic - can't see what it actually is!

T and C for Zest says that offer is for six issues, therefore tying you into 2nd dd.... may throw up issues if you try to cancel.

Anyone know if this micrscope is any good from ELC?

Also, dh has had the genuis idea of digging out the chocolate fountain which has been lying dormat in the back of a cupboard and setting it all up for dd's on Christmas day ... as if they won't have enough chocolate that day as it it Hmm

So if anyone sees or knows where there is melting chocolate sold cheaply could they let me know Smile

Thanks to whoever posted the power rangers megazord toy earlier, that's another ticked of DS's list. And paid for using credit card loyalty points converted to amazon vouchers so doubly bargainous Grin

relaxing it just says you have to cancel before the sixth issue nothing saying you can't cancel after the third issue?

cat811 · 15/10/2013 19:19

Can't work out how to read the Zest T&C - it says it's £3 for 3 issues, then every 6 issues is £10, but to cancel trial before 6th issue (so would that be the 3rd of the lot of 6? That doesn't make sense as you'd have paid for 9 by that point?) Anyone any clearer?

Moosey

Coincidentally we've just put up my daughter's Asda wooden kitchen this weekend, which we bought for her birthday this time last year (think I got carried away with the bargain hunting, as it was for her first birthday and she was clearly too young!).

It is fab - really solid and well made, compact but really pretty. I'd definitely recommend it based on the amount she's played with it the last couple of days (as have my 6 & 5 year old sons - under the guise of 'showing' their sister!)
