And that thread title's an order!

Thread 13 now, unlucky for some but hopefully lucky for us.

Keeping things same as last thread - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Second message hasn't been updated with new offers from last thread as you are too chatty for me, will do better next time.

I was! Thanks Rhonda, brill find!

SpookyTeacakes · 13/10/2013 19:39

There's just one think I want to be in the sainsburys toy sale and that's the 'my first drum' Smile

whoneedstosleep · 13/10/2013 19:40

That is a great price for the snowman and snow dog set. I paid £9.97 for it from amazon a couple of weeks ago!

IsThatTrue · 13/10/2013 19:41

Is that the chad valley one spotty ?

Oreocrumbs · 13/10/2013 19:44

I was just coming on to post the snow dog thing! Take it we are all playing on HUKD Wink.

Apparently it is available in Tesco for £5, but it will cost me more than 99p to drive there so I'm buying online. Best price on amazon is £9.74.

frosty21 · 13/10/2013 19:45

I am in a dilemma with that Snowdog. I want to buy it. I love it.

Dh is convinced if I buy only one then dd's will argue over it (3&6yo).

However buying two just seems pointless. We do not need two books. I'm not even sure we need two of the same soft toy.

I was thinking of putting in the Christmas eve hamper and telling them the elves said they had to share it.

Dh is still saying its not a good idea and not to get it. But I want it!

What do you all think?

RhondaJean · 13/10/2013 19:47

Could you

Get two packs. Open both. Put one book and a toy each in the hamper and regift the other book?

Grin
Oreocrumbs · 13/10/2013 19:49

Is there something else they both want? Then one could get that and the other, the other?

Disclaimer there is 13 years between our DC so don't really have sharing issues to deal with, might be a bad idea Grin.

ladybirdinwaiting · 13/10/2013 19:56

thanks for this thread - so useful!

SpookyTeacakes · 13/10/2013 20:01

IsThat I think it's just a sainsburys one?

IsThatTrue · 13/10/2013 20:12

this one?

OhCobblers · 13/10/2013 20:13

Could someone please advise me on the Playmobil advent calendar? I already have a beautiful advent box that I fill with a tiny present for each of my 2 dc, ie, small keyring, hair clips, etc. Costs a fortune!!

Do you think that each playmobil piece is small enough to go into an advent drAwer/box or not realistic? Thanks

frosty21 · 13/10/2013 20:15

Regifting the book is a good idea.

I was thinking of maybe buying a snowman toy and putting it in the hamper as well.

I don't know. Maybe I'm overthinking it Grin

JustBecauseICan · 13/10/2013 20:19

Cobblers, some of the Playmobil bits for the advent calendars can be quite big- like you'll get weeny little animals one day, but others you'll get a whole tree.

I have been awol for almost 24 hrs (at MILs

NigellaEllaElla · 13/10/2013 20:19

I've quickly scanned the thread and can't see anything re this so apologies if I've missed it BUT did anyone else order Downfall from SevenAgain? I did but have had a paypal refund for the same amount from that company this afternoon but no email of explanation. Anyone else?

JustBecauseICan · 13/10/2013 20:20

(I have also got through a phonecall with my Mum back in England without her asking about the 698 parcels that have been delivered since Sept. )

AmandinePoulain · 13/10/2013 20:21

Lorelie B&M had puppet theatres in stock a few weeks ago, I can't remember how much for but they were definitely less that £20 Smile

NigellaEllaElla · 13/10/2013 20:21

And it is now £24 on Amazon! Gggggggrrrrrrrr. I thought £8.99 was a fab bargain! It's Robotgate Part 2, but I won that one!

SpookyTeacakes · 13/10/2013 20:23

Hmm don't think it was that one, looks like that's all they have though and think ds would love it Grin

TwerkingNinetoFive · 13/10/2013 20:24

Cobblers I did that last year, with the Christmas themed one and the bits that wouldn't fit in I just gave her (there was only a few) and I either split the other ones, some days you might get 3 rabbits or something, or put in a chocolate.

WeleaseWodger · 13/10/2013 20:24

Pintoy woodland house with furniture just dropped in price to 108.98

ValiumQueen · 13/10/2013 20:28

Cobblers I am thinking of doing the same. With the bigger bits you could put a paper clue in the drawer and have a treasure hunt to find it. The refillable calendars are lovely, but can end up expensive as you say, and quite a lot of effort. I now have three kids so I figure if there is a playmobil bit and three little coins or sweets in each drawer then everyone will be happy.

FarOverTheRainbow · 13/10/2013 20:33

Thanks chocky for the puppet theatre links I really like the Melissa and Doug one I'm going to camelcamel it and hope the price drops.

I think I'm going to be lost after Christmas when this thread is done Blush.

I've saved an absolute fortune but it's my DDs birthday next week so she's got a lot of stuff for then and at such good prices too.
