And that thread title's an order!

Thread 13 now, unlucky for some but hopefully lucky for us.

Keeping things same as last thread - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Second message hasn't been updated with new offers from last thread as you are too chatty for me, will do better next time.

nannyplum worry not I've got it from tesco for £12.50! No way I'd be paying more tbh as I despise Barbies with a passion !

Iamsanta · 13/10/2013 17:48

Anyone bought the 2ds? Good deals about?

Theonlyoneiknow · 13/10/2013 17:48

What about à mag sub maybe for the engineer, or a spicery sub thing? Or 6 months love film membership ?

Coveredinweetabix · 13/10/2013 17:49

Thanks for the flag about the Playmobil calendar. Ordered for DD. Although may keep for next year as she is having Playmobil for both Xmas and bday and don't want to overwhelm her. Or for her to think "not more Playmobil" when she opens the totally bargainous school on Xmas Day.

I've been thinking some more about my Christmas loo roll. Do you think I can put it on the holder & then have a discreet sign saying "for display purposes only" and then have the proper (i.e. normal) loo roll next to it?

SpookyTeacakes · 13/10/2013 17:55

Love film subscription is a good idea. They usually do a deal on amazon on Black Friday Smile

Theonlyoneiknow · 13/10/2013 17:58

The past two years we have bought à six month love film sub on black friday for about £15

ValiumQueen · 13/10/2013 18:00

I want the playmobil nativity advent calendar. I do not want to pay £25 for it. Is it likely to go down in price? I am willing to wait. I think.

Sylvanians Maple Manor £52 on Amazon, which is pretty good I think.

bulletwithbutterflywings · 13/10/2013 18:04

Janx - I really know what he likes! he's only my brother Blush he has always been really difficult to buy for, always gets inundated with smellies and clothes so they're out, I don't think he would be into puzzles theonly but a magazine sub could be a good idea but which one?! Ooh just seen the love film suggestion - maybe I'll hang in for Black Friday!
Thanks for the ideas!

bulletwithbutterflywings · 13/10/2013 18:05

*I don't reply know...

bulletwithbutterflywings · 13/10/2013 18:05

Oh goodness me. I give up!

Mercythompson · 13/10/2013 18:12

thankyou so much ladies for these wonderful threads. I have only started today and so far I have got: the led helicopters from Amazon, the bouncy balls from amazon and the seconds mugs from Magpie - brilliant.

Does anyone have a discount code for Hamleys? I saw the one for the free bear - but need to buy some stuff for the boys and was really hoping for some money off.

If I come across any good discounts etc, I will of course add them here.

RhondaJean · 13/10/2013 18:17

Anyone got any ideas for an advent calendar for a teenage girl?

2ds is £99 on tesco - cheapest i've seen it - prob cashback too on topcashback

2ds tesco

Chockywockydoodah · 13/10/2013 18:20

Dangerousmouse if you're still looking for a dinosaur scene/playset what about this. Not a bargain as such at £22.99 but you could put it on your amazon wish list and wait to see if/when the price drops? Handy as it doubles up as a storage box too :)

There's also this one that is smaller at £14.99 and transforms into a rucksack?

ScarerAndFuck · 13/10/2013 18:32

Could you ask for small beauty samples in Boots RhondaJean, or the make-up in Poundland?

Perhaps wrap them and let her do a lucky dip in a gift bag every day.

DangerousMouse · 13/10/2013 18:32

Thanks Chocky may get that as well to keep them in, I've had so many great suggestions Flowers

notso · 13/10/2013 18:35

Not sure if it has been mentioned but if you subscribe to amazon clothing emails you get a code for 20% off clothing sold by Amazon. I just got DH a Berghaus jacket for £37.60 and myself a pair of Converse for £25.20.

I read this on HUKD!

NeverQuiteSure · 13/10/2013 18:36

Someone up thread (sorry, I forget who) was looking for the Playmobil Fantasy Castle. I didn't read all the replies, but noticed that Very have a similar one reduced down to £75. I haven't seen it anywhere else and it really is very similar. I think there are some £30 off first credit order for new customer type codes floating around on the net for Very. Here is the link to the castle. Failing that, hold out for it to drop on Amazon. We bought one for DD when they dropped last time. Camelcamel is your friend.

bulletwithbutterflywings (having serious 90s flashbacks thanks to your username btw!) Would you DB appreciate something practical like a mobile hard drive or high capacity USB stick? I can be a little hard to buy for and have requested this sort of thing in the past.

Reastie · 13/10/2013 18:36

Playmobil forest winter wonderland advent calendar mentioned upthread is now coming up at £12.72.

You know, I was reading this thread before bed last night and read a couple of lovely comments about how much people have saved and how much easier it's making christmas for them and it really gave me a warm fuzzy glow feeling inside Blush feeling like I am somehow helping (well, tbh it's the people who post all the fab codes etc helping far more than me, but I still feel like I'm helping!). And all this spawn from me asking on the off chance if anyone had seen any good christmas bargains online....and look at it now
