Got my box of awesome today too. Got a football thingy, book the same as scarer and a couple of packs of stickers. Good for free but won't continue with them. They were very boy heavy. Worth it for the free box (see link in second post) though!

I go out to actual shops for one measly day and miss out on the feckin printer! I hope it goes through for all who managed to get it. I am encouraged to hear that someone got the Asda order, mine is still scheduled, no cancellation emails yet.
Went to pick up my Imaginext castle from Toys R Us, they had to price match it as it was £59.99 in store but £39.99 online.
Also got my £2.40 1st Christmas stockings and £1.60 Robot dog from a Mothercare, I'm very pleased with them, the stockings look nicer than the ones the we're selling in store for £6.

Just had an email from Tesco Direct announcing KIDS MEGA SALE up to 50% off toys, definitely some bargains on there depending on what you're looking for, eg, Playmobil Pirate ship £25!!!!!

I experienced my first Home Bargains shop today - one opened locally last weekend and I've been desperate to go. I bought loads of things I didn't know I needed, from flapjacks to an incinerator!

Christmas bargains that I don't think have been mentioned included Moshi Monster series 3&4 blister packs of 5 moshlings for £1.99, Nintendo DS Guitar Hero for £2.99 and Babyliss hair accessories reduced from £4 to 39p. I got lots of hair bits for my DD and niece as stocking fillers.

I've been coveting a Yankee Candle in Cotton for ages and bought a rip-off version for 69p.

I promised to report back on the wrapping paper I got from Traidcraft.

It's ok. Thinner than when I had the same design a couple of years ago, but better than last year. It's the brown paper one, so like a thinnish brown packing paper (maybe like the stuff Amazon screw up in their boxes).

But they did give me a code for £5 off your first order : ISAVEF

Heart sank then as had an email from Asda, it was just cancelling that 2p baking book though, I can live without it!
Meant to add in my last post, TKMaxx had Orla Kiely hand towels for £5, and Kellogs Lucky Charms in the sale for £1.99. I got a pack for Dd and Ds1's stocking, they always pester for them in American Sweet shops but there is no way I'd pay £5 for them!

Vee you only get 24 hours to collect your box according to my email. So it won't be there on Tuesday if it's there today

Our box of awesome was exactly the same. I might have subscribed if it had been a y good, but not worth it IMO. I think you get another free box if you reply to their review email, so we'll do that.

Thanks to the OP's for the Yumi bags and the kids safety helmets (just need to wait for a bargain on the Micro scooters to go with them now!)

There was a glitch yesterday on Disney store personalisation. If you add nightwear and personalisation then any other items that can be personalised are charged a £1 too. Their medium soft toys are reduced from £20 to £12 at mo.

Only useful if you want personalised stuff tho!

Reastie - was there anything special about your box of awesome box? The one I picked up today was just a small flat white box with box of awesome printed on it on one side . Handy for sending a parcel at. Xmas maybe but not something that old be used as a stand alone box or anything to write home about.
