I’m doing things a little differently this time - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hope this works a bit better and please give me feedback Grin Thanks

we’ll need to start renting storage facilities to hide all this stuff the rate we’re going

Re the Playmobil for small kids, I suppose it depends on the individual and their own risk assessment re swallowing things Grin but dd had her first Playmobil (airport and plane) when she was just 3 and tbh, never touched a bit of chunky duplo style stuff after.

I guess, as Never says, it depends if they like fiddling with little bits and bobs, but Playmobil is so durable (and fetches its original price virtually on ebay afterwards!) So if I was trying to choose between Playmobil and something else, I would always go for the former.

can someone PM me and tell me what HoneyDragon said

I am always around buying things early in the morning and in the afternoons so available for subbing for Reastie if threads get full quickly as I expect they will as we get closer. (I don't do techy though so any OP from me would be a c and p type thingy)

Wilkinson s yesterday had reductions on some of their own- brand lego,.. massive reductions. They had small vehicle kits for 20p and bigger tractor & horse kits for 40p. Great for stockings (or Santa at school Xmas fayre if you're on the PTA!).

raisah thanks for the cellophane wrap link, I'm not sure if I'm going to buy as I need lots of it. I might buy plain and I could use it up all year doing hampers for birthdays etc. You have just reminded me I need to buy my class Christmas gifts, will go and have a look at baker ross Christmas things now.

Oh, this thread needs filling up. I thought I'd achieved my ambition of filling up the bargain thread last time. But someone came along hours later and took it to 1001 posts. I give up. . Tis not to be. Have to do something more useful with my time.
