Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Thank you for the Book People codes. I am a regular customer of theirs, but have just gone through their sale section and used both codes and my basket was just over £12 Grin Lots of stocking fillers and bits for the present drawer.

CreatureRetorts · 23/08/2013 10:52

Am in Waitrose - up to 75% off some toys.

They've got individual hot wheels for 99p - always a good stocking filler.

98percentchocolate · 23/08/2013 10:55

Cheese - WOW!! Wish I had a bigger garden (and a couple of hundred £) Sad

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 11:06

jam yes the new one is already on sale at Legoland, definitely different to last year's one.

joymaker · 23/08/2013 11:07

I'm wondering whether to contact Hope Education re robot as I didn't supply a phone number either and have had no contact from them via email.

SpottyTeacakes have you heard anything back from them yet?

jamtoast12 · 23/08/2013 11:14

Poppy... Have you had both? I'm wandering whether to get the one from last year and this year for my two dds but obviously want diff toys?

ValiumQueen · 23/08/2013 11:18

Cheese the playhouse pictured is actually £400 as the tower and slide are optional extras. Bit misleading I reckon. Lovely though.

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 11:31

Not exactly at the "bargain" end of the scale, but if anyone is looking for this kind of stuff, Fortnum and Mason has 25% off various items this weekend. Good for things like nice chocs or hamper items.

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 11:38

jam we had last year's calendar. DD was only 4yo at the time and it was a bit fiddly for her TBH. I've put it away and plan on bringing it out again in a year or two - she won't notice! Grin

If there are any of last year's ones on sale anywhere, why not save a few quid and just get that?

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 11:42

As always with Fortnum and Mason, the cheaper stuff like teas aren't cost-effective to buy online due to the high postage.

But I reckon someone (me!) would like this Picnic Coolbag.

jamtoast12 · 23/08/2013 12:10

Poppy

Yes, I have 2 dds so I'm thinking of getting last years and this years so they can both have them! They're 6&8. I can get last years cheaper and dd1 can get this years for with her bday in nov!

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2013 12:14

30% off at the works today

GiddyStars · 23/08/2013 12:42

Vertbaudet - when you get the confirmation order of the items being sent out and it lists what free gift you are getting, phone them quick and complain before they send the parcel out. They will then offer you a list of alternatives to choose from, allll much better than the bag!

I just selected a toy story sleeping bag, they also had rapunzel, pull along hippo...few other bits.

GiddyStars · 23/08/2013 12:42

Don't phone them email even and then they will phone you and you don't have to pay...that's what just happened to me anyway.

iloveholidays · 23/08/2013 13:03

I've emailed vertbaudet and acted a bit dumb saying they've sent bags and how do I go about changing them. will see what they say. more than happy to return to actually get a gift I would use!!!!! :)

Im on a toy kitchen hunt this afternoon, any bargains i'll be sure to post! The £6 one as previously mentioned is good but not quite big enough.

iloveholidays · 23/08/2013 14:05

iloveholidays · 23/08/2013 14:06
