Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

BuffyFairy · 21/08/2013 08:29

Joymaker Sainsburys has 25% off vtech toot toot vehicles. Usual price £6.99.

WithConfidence · 21/08/2013 08:36

That sports bag is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I'd rather have nothing.

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 08:37

well I'm definitely going to send an email. hopefully the more who complain they'll stop doing it in the future. stupid thing is that I'll probably bin it!!!

tesco weren't advertising them on 2 for £8. my eldest loves little figures so thought she'd like it. I have 2 younger dds so know they will get used one way or another!!! Smile

Snowgirl1 · 21/08/2013 08:45

From HDUK, Amazon have a couple of books reduced from £6.99 to £1.50Barry the Fish with Fingers and Barry and the hairy scary monster. I said I wasn't going to buy anymore books though...

Gooseysgirl · 21/08/2013 08:52

My DD is still playing with the laugh and learn tea set at 18m, would definitely recommend

WaitMonkey · 21/08/2013 08:58

Chocky, if you look at the thread at HotUKDeals people who ordered on Sunday have had their tea set or tool kit cancelled and are getting a sports bag. Hmm I don't think they have a clue whats going on. I did think about emailing them, but was put off by a review on the internet where s phone call to them had cost £12. Shock May email them. Would be disappointed with a bag, but pleased with the stuff I ordered for the price anyway.

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 09:04

thanks for the tea set. just purchased for DD3s birthday in November. being our third girl we struggle with presents and haven't got this. probably won't bother with anything else Smile

MrsHerculePoirot · 21/08/2013 09:10

robin we got this wooden playhouse last summer and it ad been fantastic. It was £20 cheaper when we bought it, and we didn't paint it, jut treated the wood. If I was buying it again, I would pay the money to have someone out it up, it took us two days and a lot of arguing!!!!! It was about the cheapest wooden outside house I could find at the time...

98percentchocolate · 21/08/2013 09:19

Just phoned and they are substituting for a sports bag, however, if you ring and complain about that then they can substitute it for a different tea set instead. It isn't wooden but it is a tea set for girls. They just need to change the code.

Also, double check that your order has actually gone through because although I got a confirmation on screen that mine had gone through, it actually hadn't. You should've had a confirmation email if it had.

I didn't bother placing my order again as DD will only be 22 months at Xmas so wooden would have been ideal for her.

So, if anybody sees a cheap wooden tea set suitable for a 2 year old would you give me a shout please?

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 09:23

What about the tool kit thingy 98? I'm pretty sure the order I chose the teaset with was the a/w one anyway so I won't get it Confused

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 09:45

What a mixed bag of responses we are all getting from our phone calls to Vertbaudet! Not impressed.

ballinacup · 21/08/2013 09:51

Whoever was looking for a playhouse, I recommend this. We have the same one and with £50 knocked off the price it's an absolute bargain.

platespinnermum · 21/08/2013 09:55

I placed a Vertbaudet order on the 19th, just rang them and was told I'm getting the sports bag - be warned, I was initially told I was getting the gift I ordered but when I asked them to confirm which one they said it was a bag. They said it's too late to cancel the order so I have to receive it then return it if I don't want it. I pointed out that was a lot of effort and cost for them given that it hasn't despatched yet!

98percentchocolate · 21/08/2013 09:57

As she only offered me the sports bag or alternative tea set I imagine that the tool kit must be gone too Sad
Such a shambles. I don't think I'll bother with them again!

WithConfidence · 21/08/2013 10:03

Yes I'm done with ordering from them ever again. Got some clothes at Christmas and I wasn't impressed with the abstract sizing or quality (jumper went all baggy but tight around the hem after the first wash).

The tea set tempted me to give them another shot but that's it now, never ever again.

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 10:07

I won't be ordering again either this is ridiculous. I will probably keep what I ordered if the quality is ok though I spent less than £10

VoldemortsNipple · 21/08/2013 10:19

Hi was in Tesco this morning and they had the Playmobil car pulling a jet ski reduced to £10 on their clearance shelf and Lamaze baby toys (stacking rings and rattles) reduced to £3. They also had skipping ropes down to 50p! Love this thread x

joymaker · 21/08/2013 11:32

Chocky just reading the tread back a bit saw your post, thanks- saw them on Amazon and at Tesco for £6 which seemed rather expensive to me for what they are so was looking for a runaway bargain Grin

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 21/08/2013 11:36

Picked up my wooden fruit set from sainsburys, was a great bargain. Looks like they've sold out again but the salad set is back online for £3.49. I missed this last week so making sure I get my order in now!

Managed to get an ELC red kitchen for £100 so I'm on the hunt for wooden food bargains!! Wasn't quick enough on the tea set but maybe that was a good thing in the end Wink
