Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

I've just ordered from Vertbaudet and the Tea Set came up as being in stock and I selected it. Fingers crossed!

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 02:55

I've just had emails from verbadet and I have two sports bags coming my way Shock not overly happy although did get a good deal on a dress for dd1 and my nephew due any day

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 03:07

tempted to send an email of complaint tomorrow, maybe I should link to this thread and say how unimpressed people are.

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 05:41

If Vertbaudet send me the sports bag, the whole lot is going back out of principle! I have no need for an unattractive bag like that. Just saying. Wink

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 06:01

Me too chocky! Although I did get quite a good deal Confused

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 07:03

can I ask if the busy books are a good deal at £5? I saw them at tesco the other day but as it didn't say sale I was reluctant to buy it yet :) I kind of resent buying anything full price now :)

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 07:10

Yes the Busy Books are a good deal at £5 (and free click & collect at Asda). But that's just my opinion :)

iloveholidays · 21/08/2013 07:15

thanks chocky. maybe I'll pick a couple up. They had lots in tesco including a monsters university. I just wasn't sure whether I'd see them cheaper and also wasn't sure which ones to get. dd1 starts school in September so have a feeling her interests might change!!!

shufflebum · 21/08/2013 07:24

Tesco had the Busy Books at 2 for £8 2 weeks ago, mIght be worth checking if you want more than one.

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 07:25

Oh they look good chocky. Our nearest asda is 30 miles away though Hmm

WaitMonkey · 21/08/2013 07:25

I think they might be a bit young for a school child. My ds liked the busy books at 3, but now he's 4 he's not interested. Of course it depends, on the child, your dc may love them.

WaitMonkey · 21/08/2013 07:30

2 for £8 is a very good price though

WaitMonkey · 21/08/2013 07:34

Nigella, that's the problem. It seems the tea set and tool kit ran out of stock on Sunday, and they are still allowing people to order thinking they are getting them. Very bad practice. They should tell you when you order the gift has now changed to a sports bag.

WaitMonkey · 21/08/2013 07:37

Thanks Chocky, I've just ordered the ambulance for my nephew. Only £6.49 now.

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 07:37

I agree that the Busy Books are probably too young for a school child. I found the books great for taking out on trips.

IJustNeedANap · 21/08/2013 07:48

THANK YOU Bea,Little&With. That's the film :) I couldn't find it when I googled though Confused

chirpchirp · 21/08/2013 08:02

laugh and learn teaset for £10.99 on amazon.

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 08:11

just spoke to Vertbaudet on phone and the order I placed on 19th has gone through with the tea set option and the tea set is still showing as in stock on her system. Still skeptical but we'll see what actually turns up! Hmm

IJustNeedANap · 21/08/2013 08:13

I'm tempted to get that tea set chirp. I've been looking at it for a little while and that's a good price, everywhere else is around £17

pantshavenames · 21/08/2013 08:19

Way up thread someone linked to the playmobil dark something headquarters; amazon are now selling the infrared cannon for 13 down from 30, I'm on phone so can't check if that's a good price or not but seems ok?

Chockywockydoodah · 21/08/2013 08:23

The Laugh & Learn Teaset is great, my DD got it for her 1st bday and it was an instant hit and a favourite toy for ages.
