Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Ah some Lamaze toy would be great for DS2 and friends babies but miles away from a Tesco and they dont have any reduced on the website...

LaTrucha · 21/08/2013 11:48

Girwiththeyellowhat - Not bargains but I can thoroughly recommend the Melissa and Doug pizza or birthday cake set. Also check out Haba play food. Fanbloodytastic.

This is also very popular

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 21/08/2013 12:01

Thanks LaTrucha I'll have a look at those now

LaTrucha · 21/08/2013 12:06

Genius

JustBecauseICan · 21/08/2013 12:17

Does anyone know of any other cheap place for personalised stuff? Dd has had hold of the studio catalogue which mysteriously arrived on my doorstep and is in love with the pencils etc but I don't want to open an account and having ploughed through the website it seems you have to, even if you pay it off straightaway.

Just don't like the idea of credit agreements and whatnot for a tenner's worth of pencils! (even though am relatively solvent thanks to this thread Grin)

ratbagcatbag · 21/08/2013 12:31

Just - I've got an account with studio, it's no hassle to be fair so long as you pay in full due the high interest rate.

Snowgirl1 · 21/08/2013 12:35

LaTrucha thanks for the links to the play food - I'm planning on getting DD a play kitchen for Christmas and have been keeping an eye out for play food. I've got the Melissa & Doug stuff on my list (and on camel camel camel) but hadn't seen the Haba stuff before - it's brilliant (and funny!)

JustBecause if it makes any difference, opening a Studio account was really straightforward - I think they just asked if you owned your own home, were employed and how long you'd lived at your address. Although if you haven't been at your current address for more than 2 years you have to provide more addresses.

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 12:47

Is there a free delivery code for Studio?

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2013 12:50

Found one. Free delivery and spent £7 on all my wrapping paper, tags, cards and an 18 inch decorative tree Grin code is 032

MooseyMoo · 21/08/2013 13:53

Oh, I've been after that wooden salad set for ages. Thanks girlwiththeyellowhat

JustBecauseICan · 21/08/2013 13:58

Debenhams have extra 20% off clearance stuff and free shipping with SHP5 code.

Just got a (hideous but she'll love it) tiger t shirt for dd for £3.60 delivered.

I think I'll go for the studio stuff. That will sort out the step-nephews as well.....

JustBecauseICan · 21/08/2013 14:18

Gazillions of free photo book/mega cheap ones on Money Saving Expert. A sooper-dooper one for £23 delivered instead of about £75!

ratbagcatbag · 21/08/2013 14:27

Quick question?

When you get a gift that is only £5 but should be £10, if you have a £10 limit for that person is that it, or do you get something else for £5.

I have just entered all my gift values in no more socks and its currently budgeting me £850 for all my gifts. That doesn't include that we will prob spend more than £200 on dss or flowers which I always get my mum and mil.

Eeeeek.

ratbagcatbag · 21/08/2013 14:28

Just - do you have the link for the super duper one?

MrsHerculePoirot · 21/08/2013 14:29

What is this no more socks I hear talk of please?!?

whyno · 21/08/2013 14:33

Found you Grin. Thanks Reastie!

Big sale at Argos today, lots of adult gadgetry but didn't notice any kids stuff.

Aargh I've finished the DC's shopping so kindly stop posting bargains! I can't resist!

joymaker · 21/08/2013 14:51

GirlWith thanks for that - excellent price! if it's not the same it looks almost identical to this salad set and look at the price of it!Bargain! Smile

ratbagcatbag · 21/08/2013 14:52

No more socks is an ap that's free, set Xmas as an event, add people and budgets etc and when you buy stuff type it in.

Now you have to answer my question Grin

VoldemortsNipple · 21/08/2013 15:00

Just picked up the Minnie Mouse make-up set from Argos. It would make a lovely present for an 8-12 year old girl. I bought it for a 4 year old but on closer inspection, it's real makeup. I might just add some cute hair slides and play dumb Wink as that's what sil does with my dcs every year. Last year my 14y DS was given an aged 10 t-shirt. Sil said oh sorry, never mind you can sell it on eBay Angry

MrsHerculePoirot · 21/08/2013 15:06

Thanks ragbag. I think it depends, if the gift was a bargain so worth £10 then I might not, but then if I saw something else for under a fiver I thought they liked, or if I thought it didn't look enough I might get something else! Depends on budget constraints I think really!

Snowgirl1 · 21/08/2013 15:16

Who was after Vtech toot drivers? There's a 3-pack in the Debenhams clearance sale for £16, plus you'll get 5% extra off if you go through quidco which would make them just over £5 each

Snowgirl1 · 21/08/2013 15:30

Someone else was after penguin related stuff for a gift weren't they? There are three penguin soft toys (one is a Spurs mascot) in the Debenhams clearance in the toys & gifts section and, if it's for a kiddie, a penguin hat

chimchar · 21/08/2013 15:56

Voldemort...please could you link to the Minnie Mouse make up?
Have had a look at argos but can't find it.... Is it with the kids stuff?

Ta.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 21/08/2013 16:20

It looks pretty similar to the set that they have one ELC. Can't claim this bargain as my own, someone posted it in the last thread but worth a remainder. They'll probably get the cut fruit set back in soon for the same price.
