Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Just looked at Vertbaudet's Facebook page and there are a few disgruntled and unhappy customers leaving messages there about the service they received. Shock

This message caught my eye particularly, so they must be in the habit of not honouring advertised free gifts:

"....Loving the clothes that I received today but I must say that I am disappointed at yet again receiving a different gift from the one advertised. I am fully aware that it's a gift and also that there might be higher demand than anticipated but firstly the gift is supposed to motivate you to order and a gift you want does so more than one you couldn't care less about and further I think the replacement gift should at least be for the same age range....."

Leilandri · 20/08/2013 21:24

Thanks Ijust orderd 2 sets of earrings for Dcousin and me someone else!
No offers to report, but Flowers for everyones fab links.
And thanks 98 for phoning about the robot!

98percentchocolate · 20/08/2013 21:30

Oh dear, think I shall ring Vertbaudet in the morn and ask about the tea set then. More excited about that than the robot! Will be gutted if it doesn't arrive. Even substitution for tools is fine as dd is a bit of a tomboy, but what the F would I do with a sports bag? I actively avoid the gym!
Thanks for the clarification yabba.

Thanks for the dotcomgiftshop reminder too - just spent £10 on Xmas decs. I usually spend that much anyway but only end up with one or two! I got 7 today!

If anyone purchased the £29 Nook E-reader, spotted this in Argos clearance, might be worth checking if in stock in your area.

IJustNeedANap · 20/08/2013 22:49

Okay I'm racking my brain trying to remember a christmas cartoon like film I saw years ago and I'm wondering if any of you can help. Here's what I remember: there was a Rudolf with his red nose, his female friend was called Zoe, there was an evil snow queen and I'm sure but not 100% that ehoopie Goldberg did the voice over. The snow queen tries to ruin Christmas with a huge storm and ah the end there's the northern lights

Please say someone remembers I'm not mental hobestly!

BeaWheesht · 20/08/2013 22:55

is this the movie?

Littlemousewithcloggson · 20/08/2013 22:57

Nap youre not mad its Rudolph the red nose reindeer:the movie

"A baby reindeer named Rudolph is born with an abnormally red, shiny nose to Blitzen and his wife, Mitzi. His parents start to worry that Rudolph will be made fun of because of this, and their worries come true when the secret of their son's nose is accidentally revealed to Rudolph's three uncles, Cupid, Dasher, and Comet along with the rest of the residents of the North Pole.
Meanwhile, two of Santa's elves cross the bridge of the wicked Ice Queen, Stormella and accidentally crash into and destroy several ice statues that belong to her. When Stormella finds out, she closes her ice bridge to the public as punishment, and if anybody dares to cross it, she threatens to create a blizzard so strong it will render Santa unable to deliver presents to children around the world.
A year later, Rudolph is sent to school, where he is ridiculed by everybody around him with the exception of Zoey, a female reindeer that he falls in love with...."
Needless to say Rudolph saves the day

Littlemousewithcloggson · 20/08/2013 22:58

WithConfidence · 20/08/2013 22:59

WithConfidence · 20/08/2013 23:00

Littlemousewithcloggson · 20/08/2013 23:02

I am not sure whether its impressive or tragic how quickly we all knew it!

BeaWheesht · 20/08/2013 23:05

Tragic

WithConfidence · 20/08/2013 23:19

I've never heard of it - I just went on WG's IMDB! It's the kind of thing I used to do it at work so I enjoyed tracking it down.
