Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Vertbaudet are not winning any popularity contests with me either. Have spent two days trying to order a couple of items (for £15 off a £20 spend offer) and dealt with faulty computer systems, rude telephone operators and a customer service dept that clearly hasn't read my email. Doubt I will bother to order now, even though the items looked nice.

angelabbie · 20/08/2013 17:38

aoftheday I have had the same problem, did not receive the £15 off so have asked them to cancel my order. Seems its not straight forward so they have to investigate and get back to be!!

DocBrown · 20/08/2013 17:46

I've returned my order - it was only pants so will get nicer ones else where . Apparently, if I had telephoned the order through they would have advised there and then that the code was not valid with my order - terrible system if you ask me. I do my ordering late at night when the DCs are in bed.

Anyway, I can offer Ocado £20 off of your first shop plus free delivery - minimum spend £80 order by 27/10/13 - VOU0144911.

Does anyone have a free delivery code for the Book People????

RhondaJean · 20/08/2013 17:58

When did you find out the £15 didn't come off? I did an order last night and it's still showing with the discount but I'm worried now, wouldn't ha e paid full price.

I've never had any issues with the la redoute website and codes.

MooseyMoo · 20/08/2013 17:58

doc just checked their facebook page and they don't have a free delivery code at the moment.

ValiumQueen · 20/08/2013 18:09

Doc if you spend over £25 it is free delivery anyway.

armani · 20/08/2013 18:17

ive been to sainsbos today and raided their lego with a third off Smile
They also had furby party rockers for £5,which is an absolute bargain. they are £20 on amazon atm.

LippyDiDooDah · 20/08/2013 18:23

Bummer. I did 3 orders with Verbaudet so would have got 2x teasets and 1 sports bag - doh, i'm gonna end up with 2 sports bags I don't need Sad Did 3 separate orders to get 3 gifts so feel a right numpty.

LippyDiDooDah · 20/08/2013 18:23

Armani what are party rockers? DD has a furby and these sound cool.

armani · 20/08/2013 18:56

they are basically mini furbies Grin
dd has a normal furby and got a party rocker today with her pocket money and they interact with each other Grin bloody annoying

RhondaJean · 20/08/2013 18:58

Do you need a furby for the party rocker to work?

armani · 20/08/2013 19:10

no u dont have to have a furby for it to work, dd was playing with the party rocker on its on at my mums and it was working fine. They are also able to interact with the app on iphone etc, but again they work without this.

yabbadabba · 20/08/2013 19:53

Mentioned on the 1st thread i think. dotcomgiftshop is great for stocking fillers and now has christmas decorations.

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 20/08/2013 20:01

Someone posted on HUKD that French Connection has its further reductions, loads of bargains on the website but selling fast. Worth checking out the stores if anyone lives nearby? Quite gutted I don't, although my local HoF has a concession I will be checking tomorrow.

Oreocrumbs · 20/08/2013 20:18

I too have been in Sainsbury's tonight and they have loads of stationary stuff half price.

Lots of Crayola bits, I bought the twistables at £1.50 for stockings/present drawer, and a few little sets for presents like charm bracelet kits, mosaic kits, sewing sets all a couple of pound each.

Also had lots of nice note books and files etc very cheap for back to school and some canny educational stuff, like handwriting practice books, flashcards etc, again all a couple of pounds.

Then my friend made me come away as we only popped in for flour! Spoilsport Grin.

Have to say the instore clothes were a very poor selection and this was in a huge Sainsbury's.

Oh I also noticed ornaments and housey things were reduced but I wasn't allowed to look!

pantshavenames · 20/08/2013 20:20

I can't remember who linked to the ruby and ed sale but Thanks to who did, my parcel came today and they are lovely, 2 sets of slippers for other size 7-ERS and a few biTS for as yet to be decided. They don't look massively robust mind (but that's OK I ordered maybe a little extra)

Kelly281 · 20/08/2013 20:27

Thanks for the body shop code earlier today, that sorted a few adults presents.

This might be a good stocking filler or present for someone. Puff the Pop Up Dragon game, reduced to £3.00 just now. Use VXXN and free click/collect, taking it down to £2.40. www.mothercare.com/Puff-the-Pop-Up-Dragon-Game/134435,default,pd.html#q=Puff

Where did it say about the tea sets being out of stock? Confused as when I phoned yesterday to ask about ordering they offered it to me! Hope it isn't out of stock as I'm really looking forward to giving it to dd. She'd love it.

Can't remember what the original point of this post was...

RhondaJean · 20/08/2013 21:04

Right I went all round my local sainsburys but couldn't find the furby rockers.

But there is 25 percent to 33 percent off lots of toys - monster high, Barbie, littlest pet shop, octonauts and some "boys" stuff which I'm afraid I didn't look at enough to remember! Also as someone said lots of half price stationery including craft sets, I got dd2 a see your own jewellery box kit for £1.49, it's felt and the holes to sew are all stamped out so ideal for her learning.

Also the 25 percent off clothes, which includes sale stuff and our local one had lots of kids stuff in the sale.

supermariossister · 20/08/2013 21:04

I also phoned to order yesterday and it was put through. fingers crossed cause feck knows what id do with a sports bag

yabbadabba · 20/08/2013 21:08

98,it said on the hot uk deals site where people add their messages.
Someone had apparently rang vertbaudet and was told the tea sets and tool kits were out of stock and they were now offering sports bags instead.

RhondaJean · 20/08/2013 21:12

Oh and I've given up after all your persuasion and ordered ruby and ed slippers for mil as well as gmil Blush

Must NOT spend any more till next pay day...
