Second Christmas bargain 2013 thread already? It's still only July!

Here we go people, the second bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

ratbagcatbag · 16/08/2013 01:24

I've got no more socks ap on my iPad, it just looks like its for iPhone, so you click the "2x" button so it fills the screen. :)

ratbagcatbag · 16/08/2013 01:30

Dammit, dammit, dammit. FIFA offer not on now :( absolutely gutted.

Mogz · 16/08/2013 02:19

Bit late to the party but marking my place, so many good ideas!

BirdingWidow · 16/08/2013 06:28

If anyone has an ELC birthday code I would also be super-grateful.

I really must check this thread much more often as I have missed some great bargains!

SpottyTeacakes · 16/08/2013 06:56

Do they usually have the toot toot driver garage on amazons Black Friday? I'm sure it was on last year but not sure if they do the same things

Oreocrumbs · 16/08/2013 08:28

Monster high hair studio £8.77

PoppyWearer · 16/08/2013 08:31

Spotty I didn't see the garage on Black Friday last year (I was looking out for it at a good price) but for a couple of wonderful days in October or November, Amazon did drop the price to about £24.

Oreocrumbs · 16/08/2013 08:33

George at Asda end of season clearance starts now if you want to stock up for next year!

SpottyTeacakes · 16/08/2013 09:19

Thanks poppy Smile

siblingrevelry · 16/08/2013 09:23

Molton Brown offering free 5 piece travel set on purchases over £45 with code TRAVELGIFT.

Chockywockydoodah · 16/08/2013 09:35

A few good Argos deals I spotted:

Fisher Price Wheelies & Loops Amusement park £24.99 Half price

ChadValley dough mega fun table station great for play doh modellers! £14.99 half price. Wish we had room :(

Thomas & Friends Brendam Docks Playset £14.99 half price

nimbs · 16/08/2013 09:56

Crutchlow35 - I've just ordered the Lemony Snicket (sp) books from the book bundle. Alternatively my ds (9) loves the Tom Gates books. Have had the bundles before and they've always been very good.

SpottyTeacakes · 16/08/2013 10:19

Shock Now I've started I just want to do all my shopping!!

Yet again have no idea what to get dp's three brothers his family are so odd they all buy each other DVDs every year, it annoys me because we don't even watch DVDs Hmm

LippyDiDooDah · 16/08/2013 10:43

I've just bought the Glamour magazine £1 for 3 issues offer and was wondering if I need to phone up to cancel the direct debit as I only ticked the box for the £1 for 3 issues not a 6 or 12 monthly box. Can anyone let me know if this is right? I'd hate to unknowingly have ordered a years supply.

Snowgirl1 · 16/08/2013 10:48

Thanks JustBecause I've emailed L'Occitane's customer services so fingers crossed they'll send me the freebie!

I've order a book bundle from WHSmith for DF and a Mr. Men one for DD so thanks for that. DD is getting two boxes of 10 books plus 3 other books for Christmas at the moment - must stop buying books!

Now, must start using that app so I can keep track of all this...

Mipe · 16/08/2013 11:32

Just ordered this bath toy from Amazon for £6:

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001F37M6Q/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?redirect=true&ref_=nosim

NigellaEllaElla · 16/08/2013 11:53

Sainsburys have got box sets of 6 Little Miss/Mr Men/Fireman Sam/Thomas books for £3! I've got some for DD's birthday party bags.

They're the proper paperback books, not the board books.

Chocolateteabag · 16/08/2013 12:06

This thread is too bad good!

I have just been on The Works via Quidco and got 15% off, free delivery and 21% cash back - which has made DS's Ozzbozz scooter £15.46 from £23, plus I ordered 4 DVD's for £10 - which are then £6.70. Plus lots of other stocking filler and party bag bits.

Just need to keep track of what I've bought now!

Oh and MCES is still active for 20% off Boden plus free del/ret if anyone is interested.

JustBecauseICan · 16/08/2013 12:07

The Boden doesn't stack though with the 25% off stuff.

LaTrucha · 16/08/2013 13:52

I tried tht too Justbecause. Always worth a try. I did get away with is for DDs christmas pjs last year. Grin

PistachioTruffle · 16/08/2013 14:04

Hello, just joining to say that my local poundland had Horrid Henry and Some larger Mr Men books in today (not sure how they're different to the regular small ones to be honest!) and Mr Men and Little Miss DVDs, might be useful to someone as stocking fillers Smile

Bluetinkerbell · 16/08/2013 14:06

chocolateteabag how did you manage to get the 15% and free delivery working together on The Works?

jumpinghoops · 16/08/2013 14:11

For anyone with a 4 year old girl (or for imminent birthday), these T-shirts in pink and black are lovely quality. Delivery £3 though.
