I have that nagging feeling, although my husband and I can't think of anything! So, here's the menu. What have I forgotten:

Turkey
Gravy
Sausage Stuffing
Sage and onion stuffing
Roast potatoes
Sprouts
Sausages
Bacon
Cranberry sauce
Bread sauce
Christmas pudding
Brandy butter

Anyone?

Vegetables? Do you only have sprouts?

DoubleMum · 15/12/2012 12:39

Do you have roast parsnips? red cabbage?
Another vegetable? Alternative to xmas pud?
Looks perfectly OK to me TBH.

PrincessMononoke · 15/12/2012 12:40

Lots of Wine

Allalonenow · 15/12/2012 12:41

Parsnips and wine.

Oreocrumbs · 15/12/2012 12:42

A starter or nibbles - smoked salmon, blinis - that type of thing?

Goose fat for the roast pots, honey/maple syrup for roast parsnips?

Do you have yorkshire puddings? have you got the ingredients?

Oreocrumbs · 15/12/2012 12:43

Soft drinks? I always forget them!

OhYouMerryLittleKitten · 15/12/2012 12:52

Either vegetables, or failing that, rennies!
Christmas crackers

TeeElfOnTeeShelf · 15/12/2012 12:55

No, no other veg.

And wine's been being stockpiled for months. Xmas Grin

No we don't do starters either. I guess we could...

NotInGuatemalaNowDrRopata · 15/12/2012 13:05

Sorry I see you've got that covered

insprognito · 15/12/2012 13:13

More veg maybe? At least parsnips, though tbh I always make far too much.I once did 7 veg it was ott and didn't fit on the plate or in our stomachsGrin.Oh and a few different cheeses/cold meats to have with crackers on xmas eve or Boxing day.

soontobeburns · 15/12/2012 13:14

what about Christmas ham/gammon. That's a must for me with my turkey on Christmas day. (though we dont do sausages in bacon)

betterwhenthesunshines · 15/12/2012 13:15

No other veg Xmas Shock. I would also do roast parsnips, slow braised red cabbage ( can be done now and frozen) and carrots.

Also like brandy cream and or brandy sauce with the pudding.

OhYouMerryLittleKitten · 15/12/2012 13:49

Your poor bowels Tee!

ChristmasPickles · 15/12/2012 13:53

You have GOT to add at least one other vegetable - either carrots, mashed swede or red cabbage in our house...

ObiTheChristmasWan · 15/12/2012 13:59

Green beans, yorkshire pudding.

QuickLookBusy · 15/12/2012 14:12

VEG!!!!Xmas Grin

marriedandwreathedinholly · 15/12/2012 14:13

parsnips and runner beans (I freeze the last picking for xmas day) and I would want some cream for the pudding as well as the brandy butter. Have you got some brandy so you can flame the pudding?

TeeElfOnTeeShelf · 15/12/2012 14:14

Nothing wrong with my bowels. Never have another veg.

I guess I've not forgotten anything, then. I may make a second pudding, just because.

OhYouMerryLittleKitten · 15/12/2012 14:19

jetstar · 15/12/2012 14:28

You can never have too much gravy Xmas Grin

We have sprouts(because its the law), roast parsnips, red cabbage, carrots and peas.

If there are left overs you can reheat them the next day, although red cabbage is nice cold too.

Tee, you NEED more veg.

TeeElfOnTeeShelf · 15/12/2012 14:42

You people are insane! Four veg?!?! Why on earth would you have four veg???????

I feel ill just thinking about that much food.

Thanks for the replies.
