BlondeBatgirl, no feet, that is odd! Can you make some pixie boots? Elves don't need visible wings - they are magic! :)

Ive just had another look...i think the idea is that hes in a babygro type thing, and you probably have to bend his feet , but to me it just looks like he has long pointy legs! Just doesn't look right without shoes!

Totally see what you mean - have looked at other photos, e.g. pinterest.com/pin/370051582/ and yes, does look a bit in need of footwear!

I thought the same Batgirl! Hence when I made my Elf I gave him shoes :) No bells but he has a bell on his hat instead :)

Are you buying a notebook too for the elf to write in and DC to write a message to the elf???

Don't know yet, simpson, DS only just turned one, his writing isn't very good yet. :) I will probably do a photo diary of sorts, when he is a bit older, and encourage him to write, yes.

I still haven't bought an elf yet, I can't stop thinking about the expensive one, which we can't really get in this year's budget, but maybe next year. If I am still crazy by then will probably be even worse.

WAC, that is one freaky-looking big old elf!

Starting to give serious thought to all things Elf related, mostly coming up with enough fun hiding ideas to last a whole month!

Was wondering should we have a thread when the elves arrive to chart their progress/antics, might give us all extra ideas Grin

Have been writing mine in my Dodo Christmas planner (that sounds really sad Blush).

Think I have almost got a months worth, but am worried I'm going to need all year to think up new ideas for next Christmas Grin

Maybe I should tell you that I wrote my ideas down in my CHRISTMAS notebook!!
I am only admitting to that as now I know I'm not the only one!! Grin

I did have thought about getting some instant snow and making up a winter scene for Alfie to play in! Snowmen and maybe a mini christmas tree????? Thought ds would love that!!

Get you all with your Christmas notebooks! :) I have been busy collating ideas on here, nice and visual, and saves me having to later try and decipher my awful handwriting. A thread on Mn for Elfy Escapades for ideas and inspiration is a good idea.

Blondebat loving the Christmas scene idea Grin, I can see this turning into a bit of an obsession, have already started thinking about all the "elf-size" props I should buy for future elfcapades!
