How do I handle phoning the GP tomorrow?

DD saw a Behavioural Opthamologst on Wednesday

The BO phoned the GP on Thursday - she emailed Thursday evening & Friday evening to see if the GP had been in touch; she hasn't

The BO says I need to chance the GP tomorrow.

So when do I ring first thing or after lunch?

What do I say?

I'm being insecure & sad again

The optician has requested that the GP organise a ct scan, an MRI & a neural net

She is a specialist in this field & well respected & she thinks it is 'something other than' or maybe 'something as well as' Streff Syndrome

Glad someone is taking it seriously, these tests should have been done ages ago, I know how hard it is waiting for a diagnosis.

Well the MRI/CT/Neural net were all suggested on the 28th Feb - I think that is 79 days ago

I have no words of wisdom just disgusted at your GP . I hope that you make headway soon and that your optician can help to make the GP move and quick. Good Luck-.

If we don't get anywhere tomorrow we are going to PALS

I also have the CAF next week - do we think I am depressed? As that needs to be addressed (apparently)

who else is going to the CAF? if the referrals were action points from last one then that should be brought up as outstanding.

It's the first one

so it's really just the school and you then? Glad you have some support - but it sounds like the school have been helpful already? I'm not surprised you are depressed. Sorry, haven't read every post/ thread but are the referrals for tests to rule out physical causes which would then leave you with unexplained symptoms? Can't think of anything helpful but hope it goes well at the CAF and that PALS help you.

Katymac · 19/05/2010 20:51

Damn I was hoping I was in a state of high anxiety due to a completely un-dealable situation rather than depression

That's probably it - would hardly be surprising. It's really hard dealing with physical but causeless symptoms. (I mean as in cause unfound). Am hoping you get things moving.
