Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help tell me what this is.. I have been to the pharmacy 3 times, a walk in care centre, GP and A&E and no one will tell me what it is or do any tests.. 2 weeks ago she had a small scab on her leg which got infected. We had antibiotics for this and it cleared up.. however in the past week we have had a lot more sores develop and they get really big.. she had an on and off fever, leg pain, neck pain (which has gone now). She seems fine in herself, eating slightly less but not fully off food. Please has anyone had this before? I will try and add photos

I'm wondering whether this is a presentation of Ehler-Danlos syndrome, where the skin's connective tissue is weak and fragile. Probably isn't that, but worth mentioning maybe? I do hope you get resolution to this soon OP, must be terribly worrying and your poor daughter!

Poor little girl!
Even her little ear has a blister on as well … Hope you get some positive news soon and that it’s nothing to worry about.
They look just like friction blisters.

Update if anyone's interested.. the sores seemed to go away with cream, stopped putting cream on Sunday and today she has another dot in the same place where the big one started, also one on her arm. We went for blood tests today, as advised by a&e and got turned away by them as they didn't give me a form in a&e, even though i specifically asked if I needed one (he said no just book online). So no blood test! And got told to go back to a&e or gp appointment to get a form! Honestly getting silly now with the back and forth between people, so fed upConfused

Madness! I do wonder what the world is coming to. How is your daughter holding up? It must be so frustrating. Hope you can get those tests done very soon.
