Mums with toddlers, does this look ok?

Realise it's not the best move posting online for advice but I can't get into my Doctors for weeks with DD (2) She has a huge tummy that never goes down. I guess I just want some reassurance that it's normal. She has a small lump in her neck that I'm guessing is a node and she sweats a lot when she sleeps and is complaining of knee ache a lot. She was 2 in March. Does her tummy look normal to you mums of toddlers?

Thanks everyone. My DM is in bits as it's brought it all back to her. Hopefully have our sweat test carried out on Monday. I'm still hopeful it's not CF but this prolapse has knocked us for 6.

Thanks for explaining roller

Rack - I bet. Try and be kind to yourself over the weekend - waiting and uncertainty is awful.

HelenaJustina · 07/10/2017 09:16

Hang in there, lots of people thinking and praying for you all (hope that’s okay!)

rollerbladersrule · 07/10/2017 10:20

Will be thinking of you on Monday. We thankfully only had one day between learning there was a possibility and then sweat test confirmation but that night was hard so I can't imagine a whole weekend.
Will you get the results straight after?

rackhampearl · 07/10/2017 10:39

From what they were saying roller we should get the results the following day like yourself. This weekend is gonna be long. Thankfully DD is well today and we are making paper mache pumpkins and grave stones for Halloween with DD(5) so should keep us busy for the weekend. DM is worried more than anyone, she feels like she's reliving it. Thank you for the support.

Just wanted to echo the support for you from others, what a difficult time! Hoping for the best outcome for you all xx

So something to lighten the mood. We have taken away DD potty for a few days in case the prolapse happens again. Hoping if she poos standing up in a pull up nappy we can avoid it until we are seen. She's been moaning she's a big girl and wants a potty. I went to put a wash on and when I came back she had got her baby born potty from the toy box, put it in the exact spot where her potty goes and done this.... sorry for the pic but it did make me chuckle Grin

Oh op poor you, your dd and your DM too. I hope you get answers soon. Sounds like a lovely day, containing a lovely poo :o

StealthPolarBear · 07/10/2017 15:48

Was it one of those situations where you're trying to keep a straight face and tell her off?

Ahardmanisgoodtofind · 07/10/2017 16:37

Fingers crossed for Monday for you all. That poo pic did make me chuckle though

rollerbladersrule · 10/10/2017 09:43

Hope yesterday went okay OP. Flowers

rackhampearl · 10/10/2017 10:23

Hey everyone. Took her to GP yesterday he was brilliant, he got straight on the phone to hospital consultant and asked her to be seen. However, the consultant wasn't worried about the symptoms and said the best she could do was see her in two weeks. Dr didn't agree and they ended up having a little bit of a professional argument but she wouldn't budge. He did his best and I was disheartened but happy enough with his efforts. I got out of the Dr and contacted some of my sisters old consultants for help because of the anxiety of waiting. Had a phone call this morning from a Dr at Children's CF ward. He was so helpful and they're gonna give her a sweat test tomorrow. Fingers crossed everyone xx

rackhampearl · 10/10/2017 10:49

Thank you. I'm so glad we don't have to wait. Hopefully on a couple of days I'll be telling you all it isn't Cf and the prolapse was a nasty coincidence x
