Does anyone remember my little Blue-eyed Joseph? Bad news and I could use some support, please.

My 6 year old, Joseph, was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma cancer when he was 3. He had 14 months off treatment and then had no evidence of disease for 2.5 years. We were starting to imagine a future for us all and make plans.

We found out a fortnight ago that he has relapsed. 5 year survival rates from here are less than 5%. Possibly even less than 1%, I can't remember. Chemo starts tomorrow, I am struggling to understand how this has happened to us again (because there is no reason) and how on earth we are going to make it through this. I know it's by taking a minute at a time, but it feels so huge right now.

I saw the sad news on a mutual friends fb page but it was obviously not my place to write anything here.
Much love to you all. There are no words but you are all in my thoughts.

Please let Trazzles know we are thinking of her and her family. I am so sorry.

Please also pass on thoughts from another one who remembers her threads and was just thinking of Joseph recently. What a sad time for the family, and I hope that when she is able, she will be able to read how many people are thinking of them.

Oh no. No I am so so sad. I remember the very first post about Joseph when there was no indication of what was to come. I remember the photo posted and his little smile that has lingered in my mind for so so long.

I am truly surprised by how strongly I feel and just want to join the MN masses in sending as much love as a stranger on a screen can.

You fought so well Joseph. As did all the Trazzles. All I can wish is strength and love to you all.
