From the award-winning Kes Gray and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, comes an hilarious rhyming tale about a frog who discovers that all animals have their special places to sit!

Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools and gophers sit on sofas, but Frog does not want to sit on a log! Jam-packed with animals and silliness, this original rhyming story will have young children in fits of laughter.

'An absolute treat.' - Daily Mail

'Hilarious illustrations and rhymes which are easy to recite and join in. Everyone will love it.' - The Guardian

Tell us about the funniest places you've found your pet hiding (or post a picture!) to be in with a chance to win a copy of Oi Frog! plus a Christmas hamper from Waitrose which includes two bottles of wine, Prosecco, almond biscuits, savoury crumbles, flavoured nuts plus much, much more.

My daughter was half way to college one day when something in her bag started moving, when she looked inside she found our 10 week old kitten bright eyed and ready for play after a cat nap in the bag. Not sure the college believed my daughters reason for being late that day and the bag was always checked for passengers before she left the house again x

When I was a child I lost my hamster and 6 months later he actually turned up in a neighbour's garage about 4 houses down the street!

cadizzy · 26/12/2015 14:15

Searched all over the house and garden looking for our young Labrador - only to find he'd shut himself in a bathroom and was asleep IN THE BATH. He couldn't understand why I disturbed him and, I can't understand why I didn't take a pic

Next door have had a very smart extension done, with a sun roof over the kitchen. The cat likes to spread out on it so instead of extra sunlight flooding down onto their breakfast area, they get a full view of his undercarriage. Grin

when i was younger, i had a hamster called Wesley Two Scoops, named after a contestant on Gladiators.
i called my hamster this, because he had a lot in common with the original two scoops.
but, mostly, because they both used to climb all over the place.
maybe, i should have called my Wesley after Steve McQueen's character from The Great Escape.
Because one night Wesley decided he was not going back in his cage .. no way, no how, marm!!
we spent several days (and long nights) of tryng to catch him, to no avail.
eventually, he was brought to heel by my goldfish.
we found him perched on the artificial island in the goldfish bowl .. looking, soggy, hungry and a wee bit sheepish.
oddly, enough, wesley never tried to escape again .. he was naughty, but never stupid xx

I realised that Max my reasonably sized border collie was nowhere to be found a few months back, I checked all the usual places, my bed, the kids bed, out at the front door etc and was starting to panic as he didn't appear when I was calling him. I came back into the living room completely baffled and wondering how best to explain to the police that my dog has disappeared through the locked door when I saw the curtain move, turns out he had decided to get up on the window ledge behind the closed curtains and stick his nose out the window as his wee pal across the road was in season! To this day I have no idea how he managed to get up there or how he somehow balanced on it, but just shows you where there's a will there's a way!

When we were young we had a hamster called J.P. (a compromise name for mine and my brother's choices of Jack and Patch) who went missing while we were playing with him. We eventually found him in the dining room, wedged between the wall, just above the skirting board, and a big cabinet. We had to wait for my dad to get in to move the cabinet before we could rescue him!

I opened my garage up yesterday Boxing day and found the cat in there! He had been hiding as the grandchildren were at mine, but I did not realise so he was locked in there for 24 hours!

Cats are an endless source of hilarity with this one Pepper is so smal she tries to get in even the tiniest of boxes and has been known to fit herself into the tissue box and into a very small easter egg package. The green back she is in contains my acupressure mat and is full of tiny spikes she was purring her head off

Jasper always hides in middle childs wardrobe when there is thunder or fireworks outside. That wouldn't be so bad if he didn't also get into a rucksack in the bottom of the wardrobe.

Lemoncakeuk · 27/12/2015 19:59

I find Jack - my 19 yr old in the tumble, I have only tumbled him once about 8 years ago!

He is my 'heat seeking missile!' 107 degrees and in a furry bed in the greenhouse!

Has also been known to stand over lit candles yep and singed himself!

When I lived at my parents place I had a number of pets, among them was a hamster who had a habit of escaping. He once went missing for a fortnight and I was starting to think he had died somewhere hidden. My dad finally found it hidden at the bottom of a box under the sink, which it had filled with food scavenged from the box his own food was kept in. He panicked when we found him and promptly stuffed his pouches with food - which he spat out all over my dad five minutes later in the living room, as dad sat with him on his lap.

We also briefly lost my budgie, who refused to fly; he was later found under the welsh dresser with his head tucked under his wing.
