From the award-winning Kes Gray and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, comes an hilarious rhyming tale about a frog who discovers that all animals have their special places to sit!

Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools and gophers sit on sofas, but Frog does not want to sit on a log! Jam-packed with animals and silliness, this original rhyming story will have young children in fits of laughter.

'An absolute treat.' - Daily Mail

'Hilarious illustrations and rhymes which are easy to recite and join in. Everyone will love it.' - The Guardian

We found our Cat - Felix under our bonnet in the engine bay. Worse thing was we had just driven it 5 miles upto to see our horse. My wife did not want to open the bonnet as Felix was howling but thankfully no harm done except for one scared cat

I found our Cat in the Dishwasher once...I have no idea How long she had been in there but thank goodness it was not turned on, she jumped out when I opened it and gave me a heart attack...crazy cat!

My kitten has decided that her 2 favourite places to sleep are in the litter tray and on the bottom part of the vegetable rack!

Our dog was found in my Grandmother's posh fur hat having a snooze! :)

I nipped to the post office leaving Eric at home. When I got back I couldn't find him anywhere and was starting to panic. I checked all of his usual hiding places, under tables and beds, in the cupboard, in the dryer even in the drawers and he wasn't there. I started calling him and wafting a piece of ham round when I heard whining, he'd manage to jump in a laundry bin and the lid had closed on him Grin Felt incredibly relieved though, stupid dog

19 years ago just this Christmas, there was a meowing from the corner of our bedroom from my sweet little black cat Tuppence and there she was unbeknown to us with 6 sweet little kittens born in our bedroom and we still have two of the kittens Dibble and Ellie, a real Christmas present not quite under the tree and our youngest daughter was also born that Christmas Eve :)

An Invention that Remove Hairs From The Back Of The Throat

I used to have a cat called Hendrix, and she taught me how to get rid of a hair stuck in the back of my throat, so my invention is named after her. Cats get furballs all the time from cleaning themselves, and get rid of them by rotating their shoulders forwards while coughing at the same time. This dislodges the hair and is coughed up, along with a horrible noise. Hairs stuck in the back of the throat are an unpleasant experience and the Hendrix Manoeuvre is a fast relief for sufferers.

My much missed GSD used to 'hide' by standing in a puddle. Nope. Couldn't see him there...

All my cats find great places to sleep, on an upright slide, in the tumble dryer or in the playhouse so they don't get wet!

When I was 18 I had a hamster called Hamish, well one day I went to pick my friend up from the train station, on the way home she started screaming 'Your pockets moving'. It seems that Hamish had fallen asleep in my coat pocket and I hadn't realised... he'd been in there for hours!!! My friend did calm down after we pulled over to find out what Hamish had been up to.

We had a cat who disappeared one day and we looked high and low for her. Then, late at night, we got a call from our neighbours - she'd climbed into their car while they were packing up for a weekend away and was with them. They brought her back on their return and she just behaved as if nothing had happened - probably just wanted a holiday of her own.

We found the cat in the washing machine on top of some dirty (dry) clothes. Luckily we didn't just shut the door on him.

kim1957uk · 26/12/2015 08:46

My dog is so scared of fireworks and thunder and it was New Year's Eve and we couldn't find him. We searched the whole house and the garden and couldn't work out where he had disappeared to. Eventually, we found him in a wardrobe in the spare bedroom buried under a pile of clothes. He had pulled them all off the hangers and hid himself under them.

Another time we couldn't find him and eventually went into the bathroom. He had peed on the bathmat out of fear and was trying to get behind the toilet. Unfortunately for him it was a modern toilet which went down to the floor and he couldn't understand why there wasn't anywhere to hide.

The cat has been driving us up the wall this year as she seems to have developed a love of Christmas decorations. She can be found sat half way up the Christmas tree, playing with baubles she has knocked off the tree or pulling off the tinsel. She has not made it to the very top - but there is a while before the tree comes down - so give her time!

greig23 · 26/12/2015 09:23

we found our cat Patrick in the washing machine once, he got in there and was asleep all day. i think it was because it was quiet lol

Spent ages one day looking for my little black kitten and couldn't find him anywhere...a couple of hours later we heard meowing coming from my jumper drawer, which I had opened briefly when getting dressed. Opened the drawer to find a little black sleepy stretchy kitten, yawning and ready for a snack, ha.
