From the award-winning Kes Gray and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, comes an hilarious rhyming tale about a frog who discovers that all animals have their special places to sit!

Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools and gophers sit on sofas, but Frog does not want to sit on a log! Jam-packed with animals and silliness, this original rhyming story will have young children in fits of laughter.

'An absolute treat.' - Daily Mail

'Hilarious illustrations and rhymes which are easy to recite and join in. Everyone will love it.' - The Guardian

Tell us about the funniest places you've found your pet hiding (or post a picture!) to be in with a chance to win a copy of Oi Frog! plus a Christmas hamper from Waitrose which includes two bottles of wine, Prosecco, almond biscuits, savoury crumbles, flavoured nuts plus much, much more.

As a pup my dog got everywhere - including once going into the washing pile and coming out wearing my pants.

And there was the time we found him sleeping on his brother. Just too cute for words.

My dog (who sadly has had to be rehomed to my mum's since I had my dc) is only the size of a cat and has a very skinny waist.

She used to love chasing cats and was an escape artist: because she is so small she can squeeze through pretty much any gap.

One day, I was in my kitchen and heard a whimpering from the garden. Wondering what it was, I went out to investigate. My dog has tried to chase a cat into next door's garden but instead of going over the fence, she tried to squeeze through it and got stuck at her hips! Her head and chest were in next door's garden and her back end was in mine! It looked really funny but I unfortunately didn't get a photo.

Our kitten Rosie likes to hide anywhere she can! But her new favourite places are Christmas tree branches and reusable carrier bags!!! Grin

My cat loves hiding in my daughters bed... However my daughter dislikes her so shes got very clever. Wardrobe is fave stop now.

Our cats tend to get into the oddest places - the bath, drinking from the loo, cuddling the sofa cushions, any little nook and cranny. The funniest thing was when we got their cat boxes out to go to the vets and two of them just clambered inside!

When my family got a kitten when I was sixteen, I looked after him as our other family cat didn't like him. (It soon changed and they became best friends).
He was tiny and used to spend most of his days curled up under my chin. I would carry him around and he would often end up sleeping on my bed.
I took him to my room one night, and got changed throwing my clothes and under wear on the bed, like most teenagers. He was playing on the bed. I got in my pjs and turned roundnto find him curled up in one of the cups of my bra. And he was asleep.

His name was Acer, we shared the same birthday, he was an indoor cat and very lovable. He died two years ago and is sadly missed.

Burying a bone in a pile of ironing...that had already been ironed as was waiting to go away...she wasn't very popular that day!

We're always finding our kitten in all sorts of places. A memorable time was when she was curled up inside DH's gym bag - he didn't realise until he got there!

I walked in on the cat having a tea party with DD and my DP...

had a tortoishell cat , when I was a teen and we found her asleep, upright, in the undoubtedly 1980s wicker waste paper basket once :o

She also liked to snooze in my kid sister's Big Yellow Teapot.

My hamster Millie escaped when I was a kid. Looked everywhere and couldn't find her so did the old washing up bowl with food in and a ruler up the side. Two days went by, no Millie. Third day and I opened my wardrobe and there she was. The back panel had come loose and she had squeezed through a small gap Grin

I lost my little black bunny in the garden. I searched high and low but couldn't see him. I looked out the gate and up the road to see him sitting at the bus stop, he looked like he was waiting for a bus

sharond101 · 10/12/2015 09:45

Lying in an empty bath.

katiewalters · 10/12/2015 10:25

our hamster went missing for a couple days, but he used to do that, and come back out when he wanted food. Found him one day hidden inside my sons duvet cover that was on his bed

Dog on a shelf heading in the direction of the dog treats on the next shelf! Affenpinscher loosely translates as monkey dog. Monkey by name, monkey by nature. Grin

When we adopted our cat, it happened so that we had to go to another town for a day. So we left her home alone. We came back -- she was nowhere to be seen. We eventually found her on top of a fridge, hiding behind the coffee machine.

Packing to go skiing one year and I lifted my ski bag, thinking it felt heavy, I put it down again, unzipped and rooted around, only to find our cat fast asleep nestled in my long johns!

fuzzywuzzy · 10/12/2015 13:43

He seems to love it in the washing machine, especially in summer and if we leave the door open after a wash, he will be found curled up fast asleep on the damp clothes!

He's a cat, he is meant to hate water isn't he?

We are all very careful to ensure the door of the washing machine is never left open and double and triple check the drum before running a wash, I tend to check both cats are accounted for before running a wash.

The other cat prefers sleeping in the wardrobe on the knitwear shelf. Or my pillow on my bed, but only if I look like I'm about to go to bed, he will suddenly run for my pillow and settle down and pretend like he's been sleeping there fore ages! Confused

Both cats also love the dustiest darkest corner under my eldest DD's bed, and no amount of coaxing and bribing with treats will move them, they just stare at us from the comfort of the cobwebs with their glittery green eyes (the only things visible as they're entirely black cats, under the bed). It 's a marvellous way of dusting under the bed tho, they emerge covered in cobwebs!

One cat in the carrier when we were taking them to the vet, she voluntarily climbed in and settled down! And again on top of the litter tray, then my boy cat in the dishwasher!

We once drove to the tip and then found our cat sitting in between the driver and passengers seats when we got back in the car after getting rid of our tat!
VERY nearly a unhappy ending!

kyuuketsukikurai · 10/12/2015 17:15

Just after I got my cat, she went missing. I looked everywhere, and couldn't find her. Miserable, I assumed she'd gotten out, and I'd just have to hope she came home. A little later, I heard a very muffled meow coming from the bedroom. It turned out the drawer was very slightly open, and she'd crawled into the drawer, and squeezed behind it. It was a good thing that I hadn't noticed and closed it!

Debbriana1 · 10/12/2015 18:12

A relatives cat once hid in my mums bag. We only found out once we got home.
